I ordered an uncommon begonia that was out of stock. I added my name to Steve's waitlist. Recently, I received an email telling me that the plant was available and quickly bought it. The plant arrived after a slight detour in the postal service. It is a beautiful well-grown plant and I am certain that it will be happy in my home. I will purchase more plants from Steve's Leaves. In fact, I am on a waitlist for another plant and hope to get that one soon. They have hybridized several new beautiful plants that seem to have an inner glow. I will also purchase several of them as space in my home becomes available. As a plus, communication with them is fast and genuine. Nothing but praise for Steve's Leaves from this happy gardener.

I ordered three angel wing begonias from Steve's Leaves. My order arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I've never received such well-packed, healthy, and substantial plants. Just beautiful! I will definitely be ordering from this company again.

I ordered a Peperomia(watermelon) from them which cost $39.99 with the shipping at $11.99. When the order arrived the first time I was shocked. It came in a 2"pot with all the leaves and stems dead. The packaging consisted of a twisted paper strip around the plant and enclosed in a small plastic bag. In other words DOA. I emailed them about the plant and they requested that I send them pictures which I did. I asked for a replacement plant and they agreed to do so. I got the second order and was so disappointed- it was DOA. Again pictures were emailed and they refunded the cost of the plant minus the shipping charges. Please be careful of this company- they charge an exorbitant amount for a very small plant which has a poor root system and the packaging frankly is a joke. I have ordered many plants from various Nurseries in the US but this has been the worst experience.

Just received four plants from Steve's Leaves. Great quality, with husky plants. One plant had multiple growths. Even the smallest (a very rare begonia) looked nice and healthy. Plants were well packed, with just enough water to keep them hydrated for their journey, but not waterlogged. I feel that is the best way to ship plants so that they don't rot on the way. The rarer begonia was packed with little stakes to prevent leaf damage. I would order again, and I highly recommend them. They gave me a new customer discount for my next order, which will therefore be sooner than expected for this begoniac! His plants sell out quickly once they are listed, sometimes in a matter of hours, so do get on the waiting list for any plants you like, so that you can order as soon as they are available. I found that some of the plants that I got on the waiting list for were in stock in a matter of days. Therefore, don't be put off by the number of "out of stock" plants you see on the site.

I ordered from Steve's leaves for the first time a little over a month ago and received the plants really quickly. They were perfectly packed and arrived in great shape. All were well grown healthy plants and were reasonably priced for the quality and size. They are also really good at communication; answering questions quickly. I will definitely be buying from them again!

I have shopped online with Steve's Leaves three times now. I am never more excited than when I open the box. Each time the young plants come wrapped securely in plastic, then again with newspaper, and are lovingly placed in the box. I have ordered in winter and warmer months and EVERY plant has been healthy and beautiful. I have nothing but wonderful things to say. Will continue to shop with Steve's Leaves!

I placed my first order of two fabulous begonias from Steve's Leaves, and they arrived two days later. The plants were packaged carefully and shipped in a sturdy container. The begonias are perfect, in fact they're much better than I expected. They're big strong plants, well branched and sturdy, obviously well cared for by someone who knows what they're doing. I'm more than pleased with these wonderful begonias, and Steve's Leaves is now on my list of preferred plant sources. Thanks, Steve!

There are too many good things to say about this company. Their prices are more than reasonable, their shipping is done carefully, the order is processed and shipped quickly and best of all, their plants are big, healthy and well grown. These folks are a real surprise to buy from after all the scammers selling online. I have had some poor experiences buying online but these plants were so much more than I expected.

I ordered begonias in April 2016. The plants arrived as expected, wrapped beautifully, and were excellent plants - in size and maturity. I was very excited with this order and hope to order from them again.

Posted on March 25, 2013, updated May 4, 2015 Only place I've found online that offers Strelitzia reginea 'Mandela's Gold'. Large plant(1 gal size, 18" tall, in a 6" pot), was ready to put in a larger pot as soon as I got it. Plant was $30, (reg $40-I had a $10.00 off coupon by signing up for the email list) Lots of other indoor varieties, including LOTS of begonias.

I ordered several begonias and gesneriads. They promptly arrived and were beautifully grown plants large for the pot size. I will definitely order from them again. Highly recommended.

They sell plants that are full and healthy. Their shipping is fast and plants are carefully packed to protect from damage. Steve's Leaves is one of the best sellers of plants. They have great customer service and best of all, they offer a grow service for any plant not currently available free of charge, and there's no pressure to buy should you change your mind! I purchase plants almost every season and they have never disappoint in quality or service. Just received my plants today, and both are full, well rooted and healthy. Worth every penny!!

Wow! This plant source is perfect in every way! I placed an order for two house plants that arrived today, and am awaiting a second order that I placed two days ago. My plants were shipped quickly, were well-packed, and are healthy and well-developed. I couldn't be more pleased, and Steve's Leaves will be my go-to source for house plants.
