I ordered 50 lbs of wheatgrass seed. It arrived in a thin cardboard box and the plastic bag inside was stuck so tightly I had to tip the entire box upside down to get it out and cut part of it away. If you want to spend most of your time sorting through all the rocks, sticks and debris please buy this seed. I wrote the company almost three weeks ago to ask why some of my wheatgrass sprouted red and what it was and ask about the amount of debris and have never received more than an automated reply. I then emailed them back to ask if someone would be contacting me and Carolyn Gibson's reply was "what do you want to know?" Their customer service is horrible and the quality of the seed is questionable. It splits much quicker than other seed I've used and the yield is very low. Oh yeah and the shipping costs almost as much as the wheat which is more expensive than any other I've used...ridiculous.

her original complaint was that it was not shipped in a bucket. no where on our site do we mention a bucket. the box we ship in is a very heavy box. I was slow in answering her complaint because my mother in law was dying. my husband said he would respond and even though he wrote a 2 page letter he never sent it. I normally respond immediately to customers but these were trying times and I did drop the ball. when I received her second email she did not say who she was, what it was about or anything. it was just an email asking how long it took me to respond. she did not ask if someone would be contacting her I did not even know who it was from it you received an email asking how long it would take you to respond and you had no idea who it was from or what it was about, how would you respond?
I am puzzled about her saying that the seed had rocks, sticks and debris. we use the same seed to plant 200 trays a week and do not have rocks, sticks or debris in it. it does have wheat chaff in it. we are known for our high quality seed . we charge exactly what ups charges for shipping.
I did email her back and told her the occasional red leaves were because it was hard red winter wheat. it does sometime have red leaves.
I do not know what she did to it to get a low yield. we are known for our excellent yield.
WE did refund the cost the the seed.
we all but stand on our heads to please our customers but due to going through this time of my mother in law dying I am sorry we dropped the ball on this one.
