I am a tomato hobbiest and experiment with 10-12 new varieties every year. A web search for a particular variety led me to order seeds from Boondockers in mid-November, 2014. About a month later and no seeds, I sent an inquiry and received a response saying that my order would be sent out in the next week. In mid January, I sent another inquiry. This time, I was told that my order had gone out and "You should receive it on Monday." About two weeks later, I asked that my order be cancelled and requested a refund. No response. Finally, about a week ago I received the seeds I ordered, plus three extra packets for varieties I wasn't interested in. No explanation or apology. These are the strangest mail-order seed people I've ever dealt with. Why deliberately lie to me? I could have accepted a delay for any good reason. I would not order anything from them.

Sorry Don I thought those went out and apparently they didnt. There can be a mix up from time to time. So that is why we included some extras, I am sorry if you did not like what we included and for not apologizing enough.

I would like to second what the previous reviewer said. It has been six months to the day that my check to Boondockers Farm for over $100 dollars cleared. At this point I have no ducklings and no refund despite many attempts to contact them and confirm that they were indeed going to ship us ducklings before the weather was too warm. I would not recommend that you send this farm any money. They do not follow their own refund policy and the utter lack of communication is nothing short of rude. It is a pity that they possess the breeding stock from Holderread Farm. The stock is not in good hands.

Brenda got her birds. There is no reason for this to be posted. There is a wait list for the ducks. It takes time to hatch these delicate ducks.

Hi there, I made an account here just to express my concerns with Boondockers Farm. My partner and I have been trying for months to contact Boondockers, with no avail. We ordered a few ducklings for local pickup, and have heard no response in two months - not even an acknowledgement that payment was received (even though the check cleared). I have called and left numerous messages as well as emailed them multiple times, and we have heard nothing in response. If you are trying to buy ducklings, please consider another farm that will not steal your money. Do not trust Boondockers Farm.

You received your ducks. There was a mix up in picking up the birds from the farm and no need to write a nasty reply.

I sent Boondockers Farm full payment to purchase 6 day old Anaconas and 6 Saxonys ducklings. My order arrived at the Post Office with 9 dead ducklings and 3 ducklings barely alive. I immediately contacted Boondockers and they e-mailed me stating it was not their fault. Also they suggested that I utilize Express Mail as opposed to Priority Mail. I e-mailed them back stating fine, I will use Express Mail with my replacements. Boondockers indicated that they owe me nothing towards the shipping cost. I have called, e-mailed those Thieves and complained everywhere for 4 months at least. They did not return any of my numerous methods of trying to contact them. I saw some kind of advertisement of theirs on the internet discussing how they are expanding, etc. A space was around for comments and of course I had some for my fellow poultry cohorts. The comment that stung like a Bee for them was classifying them as thieves. Therefore they are 86ing me. That is the understatement for a business that owes me, because I certainly did not order a box of dead ducklings. I have been purchasing live poultry through the mail for almost 6 years from such companies as Mertzer, Ideal Poultry, Blue Poultry, Eagle Nest, Holderread, Sandhill, Country Poultry and Murray McMurray, etc. and I have never had such an experience. My beloveds, do yourself a Blessed service and stay as far away from Evan & Rachel as you can.

Al, the customer, has recieved his birds, we contacted Al numerous times with no return in his phone calls. He needs to stop posting false information or we will have to take this to another level. What he is stating is 100% untrue have 3 different shipping reciepts to his address, all confirmed by the post office alive.
