I have ordered Rhus coriaria grains on 18th of May and paid immediately. Since no news.But I see here people waiting one year, so there is stil hope. In the mails that I have received there is no indication about time of delivery. It is strange that in the KPR site there are no names, adresses, location, telephone numbers. Only e-mail contact. This is not normal. In the same time they are recruiting translators in all planetary languages. If they don't have time to deliver rapidly and to answer emails (as read in their answers here), how they think to expand their activity all over the world. I think they are not real gardeners, but a trap for money - 10 euros frome here, 50 euros frome there, and so on.

Posted on February 12, 2017, updated March 15, 2017 I found this review page after ordering, while waiting for my order. I found KPR to send seeds very slowly - I ordered last November, and got an email stating that the seeds would be sent in November-December. The seeds arrived in February. I got no response to e-mails asking if there was problems with the payment, or where my seeds were. Moreover, when the letter arrived, one of the seed envelopes was missing. Another seed envelope was completely empty of seeds! No explanation to this... Will update when/if I get a response to my e-mail.


On March 15th, 2017, HiddenName added the following: After some emailing back and forth where I described the problem, I never heard back from KPR. No offer to re-send seeds, money back, or anything. Some of the other seeds I received has sprouted now, and I can say with 100% certainty that they are not what I ordered (Drosera capensis). To be fair, I have not given KPR the opportunity to counter this, but I will never order from them again.

Mr Tomas Kindahl from Umeå, Sweden (and not from Als, Germany as he wrote in his fake profil) ordered 2 packets of Sarracenia purpurea seeds and 1 packet of Drosera capensis seeds. Estimated delivery November-December 2016. His order has been sent on 27th January 2017.

On 12th February 2017 he made a complain that only 1 packet of Sarracenia purpurea seeds has been received and that this packet is empty. We have asked him to email us a photo of the package. He sent us a photo where we have recognized our packets of seeds. Within the plastic bag of Sarracenia was a paper envelope with the seeds. We have accept his complain that we have sent only 1 packet of seeds and we have sent him a new shipment with 1 missing packet of Sarracenia purpurea seeds on 24th February 2017.

When it comes to Drosera capensis, he never made a complain that he raised different species. We provide a warranty that our seeds / plants are true to descriptions (correctly identified species). He never use the opportunity to make a complain and claim the refund.

We could not give any respond to this complain, because there is no order from Romania dated December 7, 2016. However, all orders from December 2016 are already dispatched and success delivery is confirmed. That's a pity that the author did not confirm that he already received his seeds. Anyway, he have probable not read the confirmation email properly with estimated delivery time. Some seeds from abroad have deadline for order in December and they are delivered in the spring before planting (March-April). But this information is provided both on the website and in the confirmation email.

I should have searched before making any order(and payment)! I followed the instructions exactly. They said that due date for my order is March-May! We are almost in August and I received NOTHING! MARTIN SMETANA, what do you say about this? On you site you say that: "Orders are usually dispatched as soon as we receive your payment. No responsibility is taken for seeds lost in transit unless insurance option is arranged with us prior to shipping. (This means however higher shipping costs.)" My order was insured also! Start treating your clients with more respect and answer the emails! We are in August! Where is my order? March-May has long expired! I'm very dissapointed. In your "club" you can't find any member to reply emails? And deal with clients?

They suddenly sent me a confirmation email(around Christmas 2012) for my payment (which had been done more than 1 year ago) announcing me that they sent the seeds. So, yes, the seeds arrived. 3 kinds were missing but they compensated it by giving more seeds from the other kinds. I no longer bother to ask for the missing ones. Would had been nice to send some appologies for the delay and for the replacements. But no, they acted like nothing ever happened. It's like there are only robots, no brains, no human skills or at least marketing knowledge. I maintain my negative rating. I'll never order from them.

The first was that we donīt know how to read, now that we learned how to do it right thanks to them, whatīs the next excuse? Maybe that we didnīt order thousands of dollars and thatīs why our order has no priority like others? or just that they keep the money because they need to buy a new car? who knows? Iīm an experienced gardenener with 20 years of experience and Iīve been ordering seeds since a long time. This is the worst way Iīve been treated as a customer ever: They didnīt answer any of my mails, they accused me and others of being illiterate and/or ignorant, finally after a long wait the seeds didnīt arrive in the "agreed period of time", and lastly and worst of all, they donīt even bother to contact me to tell whatīs wrong with the order. I think this time is going to be the mailmanīs fault or anything else, maybe Japanīs recent disaster. Negative comments are made only by customers who have not read nor "sales conditions" nor "email confirmation of the order", but neverthless they sent money for their orders.

"The placing of an order by any means signifies the acceptance of the above terms and conditions."

After customer place an order, s/he receive an email confirmation from KPR. This confirmation contains both payment details as well as the expected delivery time of the order.

Some customers pay it immediately, without carefuly reading what they are paying for and when they will receive it. Instead of just quick look on the short email order confirmation, such customers are disturbing many times by the same question "when I will receive my order?".

Any additional conversations with such customers is both not necessary nor usefull. It is just waste of the time which is slowing us proccessing the orders. Due to this reason, as written in our sales conditions, we do not provide additional information for questions "when I will receive my order" if we are still within the expected delivery time which was provided in the order confirmation together with the payment details.

Let's look on this example:
order placed Thursday, December 30, 2010 1:32 PM
order confirmed by KPR Thursday, December 30, 2010 6:47 PM when customer was informed about estimated delivery in the period: January-March 2011

customer changed payment method on Monday, January 03, 2011 1:03 PM, confirmed by KPR on the same day.

Today, it is 16th February 2011, so we are still in the agreed delivery period.

Since then he sent many emails concerning the same questions "when I will receive my order"...

Conlusions: Read, read and read... If you can not read or you do not want to read, kindly do not place an orders! Thanks. :-)

It NEVER replied to my emails. Here is story: I placed an order on the 26/DEC/2010, for two (2) kilos of Pleurotus Ostreatus seeds, that should have arrived to me in April/May, as they said in their email on the 30/DEC/2010. I made the wire transfer to their bank account on the 30/DEC/2010. They should see the funds in their account a few days later (4-5days), no confirmation from them!. Anyway, i waited patiently till 12/JUL/2011, which was my first email to them. NO REPLY!! I tried to contact them several times after that date using their webform (no other contact information available), still nothing! I have also sent them my Banks account details in order for them to return my money, if they were not capable in fulfilling my order... but still no reply or any action from them. Became a member of their site, paid 10 euro's. Then placed an order(93 euros) and waited. Apparently I missed some reading in the email: expected send date: jan-march. There's NO indication, or at least NO CLEAR indication on the owners website what the lead time of the seeds is. The only small indication is "jan-march" in the email that is sent after you place an order which might be overseen easily. Owner states that questions like "where is my order" can't be answered because it will delay progress and you are considered as disturbing. I too did ask that question, since it is the first time that I placed an order there. The first time this question by email was answered by "see bellow", referred to "jan-march". Even could be an auto generated email. Thats a 3 month time span! After that I sent some emails and they were totally ignored. Like, what are the seeds that are in backorder then? About 2 months later I had my inlaw send an email about deliverey time of some baobab seeds, just because my emails were ignored. In FIVE minutes GCS answered, that the seeds could be sent right after they would receive the money. so they DO have time. This doesn't create any trust. I think a little more constructive answer could help. Like, sorry but due to backorder of some seeds, we cannot give an exact date of when the order will be shipped. We are sorry for the inconvenience. That is what I suggested by email, i tried to be constructie, and I kindly requested to reply. Until now, no answer. Sorry representative of GCS, but "sales conditions"?!, the sales conditions are hard to find on your website, and they don't say anything on seeds being on stock/backorder. I sure CAN read and I sure WANT to read, but there IS nothing to read. If you find it is disturbing that customers ask the same question over and over again, the problem is not with the customers but with the seller, or website. For now, I keep the experience on negative, when I receive the seeds, i will reconsider my thoughts.

Not feeling comfortable putting rating to neutral, I tend to leave it to negative. Although I received the seeds, there's no way that i'm ever going to order again from this supplier. Communication is bad. It took 6 1/2 months for the seeds to arrive with hardly any communication from their side, and delivery would be 1-3 months.

This is a copy of our last email to Mr. Martin Smetana, KPR Slovakia owner : "The time of delivery ( February) agreed upon has expreed long ego. Repeated reminders were no effect. We can no longer put up with the indifferent treatment acorder our Gloriosa seeds order. We are forced to appoint the final date on delivery on 30 April 2011 and in case this term is also exceeded, we shall have to inform about KPR Slovakia " gold mine business " as follow: Slovakia Financial Police Office, Slovakia Office of Financial Control, Slovakia Tax Control." When I placed the order, KPR sent me a mail with payment details and the expected delivery time: February-March. I payed the price requested, but I haven't received any kind of mail confirming payment. I asked KPR if it has received my payment and about delivery time. I sent it dozens of mails, but it never answered me. This is why I had a negative experience. But if KPR kindly will answer my questions or the seeds will arrive before the end of March, I promise to change my mind about KPR. However, at the present day, my experience is negative.

I change my rating to neutral, since it's the middle of March and so there is no delay in delivery time, as you wrote. When I will receive the seeds I will change my rating to positive.
On March 25th, 2011, lucaT changed the rating from neutral to positive and added the following: Today I' ve received the seeds. They seems to be ok. It's the 25th of March, so there is no delay. It's my first order at KPR, but, all considered, I can change the rating to positive.

Payment was ordered at clients bank incorrectly (client did not follow payment details in email confirmation) and thus has been returned. Then asisted by KPR to help client make the payment.

As client wrote:
"I performed an order, paying 20,10 euros, at the beginning of February. When I placed the order, KPR sent me a mail with payment details and the expected delivery time: February-March."
on the middle of March, we are still on time.

So there is no reason for negative feedback. Really special care has been provided, altough very small order.

Hello, in the begining of March i ordered seeds, and i paided to account Martin Smetana. Now is June ang i do not get any seeds. I wrote to then few e:mail. They answered me by some, but not all. I do not know what I will do. Mayby go to police, i will wait few days. Mayby you have some information , about this company. I need phone number to Martin Smetana. But when I ordered more seeds last November 2009, and I paid in advance to their account, I have not received anything. I have sent them complaint via email 2 times (February, March) and asked my money back or seeds, no response. They don't answer to emails and no phone numbers or address. I know that also some other people have similar problems with KPR (they had larger order, group-purchase). Is that company going to go bankrupt or owner can not run company anymore for some reasons? If company responds my feedback, please give them my email address. I want to find solution, not trying to give negative image or disturb their shop. If no response from them, please keep this message here so that people can do conclusions. If I receive my order during summer, or next autumn, or 2011, I will of course send here message and update status of this case.

It really seems that KPR seeds is defunct, scam, or anyway problem shop. Strong avoid until further notice or owner responds here. Now looking to try to contact some friends in Slovakia so that they could ask details about this from Slovakian authorities / police.

Wonder why this (whole order) was so much delayed as this was to be delivered in February or March. If they could not deliver everything, they could send email and inform customer, or at least send some kind of message that "delays are possible" I changed my rating to "neutral" as my earlier experiences of KPR are still weighting positive.

Negative comments are made only by customers who have not read nor "sales conditions" nor "email confirmation of the order", but neverthless they sent money for their orders.

"The placing of an order by any means signifies the acceptance of the above terms and conditions."

After customer place an order, s/he receive an email confirmation from KPR. This confirmation contains both payment details as well as the expected delivery time of the order.

Some customers pay it immediately, without carefuly reading what they are paying for and when they will receive it. Instead of just quick look on the short email order confirmation, such customers are disturbing many times by the same question "when I will receive my order?".

Any additional conversations with such customers is both not necessary nor usefull. It is just waste of the time which is slowing us proccessing the orders. Due to this reason, as written in our sales conditions, we do not provide additional information for questions "when I will receive my order" if we are still within the expected delivery time which was provided in the order confirmation together with the payment details.

Conlusions: Read, read and read... If you can not read or you do not want to read, kindly do not place orders! Thanks. :-)
