Desiring to shrink my grass lawn by 50%, I researched Dave's Garden for ground cover suggestions. I fell in love with Turkish Speedwell and I began searching for it everywhere. The cost of this project was looking to be beyond my budget, when I found this company had it for sale at a fraction of what all others were charging. I ordered two trays, which just arrived. The plants are all in excellent condition, and the packing exactly right. If it ever stops raining, I will begin planting and planning what other ground cover I might order. I couldn't be happier.

Posted on July 8, 2013, updated July 9, 2013 Based on few previous comments I sent my order in- 1 tray of sedums, 1 tray of creeping thyme. Arrived as promised. Be aware: size of plants is not standard, they are minuscule for the price. The most disturbing was the condition: sedums were partially decomposed and dissolved, too wet. However, thymes were too dry. I planted them however asap to give them a try and also used root stimulator. Most of the plants will not make it. I contacted the company one week later questioning about refund, no response. I had ordered from another company at the same time, no problems with their plants and needless to say who got my add on order!

Posted on July 1, 2010, updated July 1, 2010 Posted on June 30, 2010, updated July 1, 2010 I ordered ground cover-hernaria 6/23/2010, the website states they ship on Monday, fedEX to assure plants don't sit in a warehouse on the weekends and die. 6/28/10 got notice of shipment via email, details showed that plants due to arrive 6/29/2010. Shipped from Ft. Collins CO, to my address in Co Spgs, CO. Not a long journey. At 4:00pm 6/29 no plants, the tracking screen didn't show any movement just pick up. I emailed as they don't have a toll free number. Advised that I feared my plants were scorching on a truck somewhere- no delivery. Got an email back that shipment was stopped, and would be shipped 6/29 to arrive 6/30. They came, bone dry. Looked like they were hearty plants, but the travel time and packaging that didn't allow for delays -just normal six packs of plants with shredded paper on top...not sure if shredded paper was moistened before shipment. I am trying to revive, but emailed immediately that plants arrived stressed, dry and not sure if they will rehydrate and recover. So far no response. I think the plants are probably wonderful, but shipping is a problem, and communication is a problem. Why send a confirmation email that plants are coming. I waited ALL day to get them, I emailed to research where they were and I get, thanks for your patience, we stopped shipment, why didn't they send a follow up email to say that, I had to probe why I didn't get my order. That isn't customer service. And now my order is iffy, and I am getting NO response. Not good.

On July 1st, 2010, tesslynn added the following: No response yesterday....making one more attempt to their site then I am probably contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge. I have clearance looking plants that I paid top dollar for and that isn't right. So my advice is don't use this company...Jeepers Creepers Serviced by Gulley greenhouse and garden center. Pity really. Maybe they should stick to local biz, and stay out of the mail order biz.
On July 1st, 2010, tesslynn changed the rating from negative to positive and added the following: Got a response, am told they will add 800 # to website. which is wonderful. I will get replacement plants delivered, so am changing my rating as stuff was done to handle my concerns. Really as a consumer that is all I wanted, and when something goes wrong, a timely response or effort to be able to work out the situation. Emotions run high when you can't get a response. Bottom line, gardners want plants to grow and prosper. I think we have a solution, and that is worth giving a good rating. So cheers to Carrie W. She did come through and I am no longer mad. :-)
