First Rays is an internet-only marketer, although he does attend orchid shows in the region where he sells plants and supplies. He has an unusual selection of plants, although not an extremely large one; it changes frequently. He also offers plants in a proprietary on-line auction, and sponsors a free forum on the use of Semi-Hydroponics, a trademarked growing technique. What makes Ray's special is the personalized service and support. You can correspond with him on any subject related to orchid growing and he is very generous with his time and advice. Ray's site also features great tips, advice, and even free services, such as researching the geneology of a particular orchid cross, and links to Jay Phal's site of orchid species.
