Gardens by Judy Ann is an Oklahoma state licensed garden in the heart of Oklahoma City. It is a hybridizing garden for hemerocallis, specializing in exquisite hybrid daylilies. Judy Ann is the hybridizer and gardener. Daylilies are shipped out or delivered from mid-March until May 10. Some shipments may be made in the fall. There are no arrangements for sales at the garden. Tours are given by appointment. Visitors may leave a list of their requests. No daylilies are dug after scapes appear about May 10. Peak bloom is in June. Scattered bloom and rebloom usually remains until frost. Current daylily registrations introduced by Judy Ann Jantz are MIHAJLO KONDIC, DELICATE LADY, GIRLY GIRL, and OKLAHOMA HOPE. Some tetraploids are being evaluated for introduction. Primary focus remains on diploid wide-petaled round-form daylilies and some spidery and unusual forms. from Kalama, WA (Zone 8b) I ordered quite a few daylilies from Judy Ann this past spring. She was a lot of fun to work with and very generous with great prices and lots of bonus plants. She sent real nice plants with lots of extra fans. Most bloomed the first year for me and all have bloomed true. You could really sense the care she took in boxing these plants up. The plants came very clean and all had very nice roots. Each plant had it's own garden marker that was tied on with colored ribbons. Curly Pink Ribbons had a curly pink ribbon tied on it. :-) One of my very favorite sellers and she's a real nice person too. I will be ordering from Judy Ann again. Joy | |
