Two years ago, I saw Guardian Blue delphiniums at the Franklin Park Conservatory. After being totally knocked out by the blossoms the color of Paul Newman’s eyes, I searched all over for plants for my garden. The only place that had them was W.W. Greenhouses. I had never bought plants online before but thought I would take a chance. Communication with the company was easy and friendly. The 9 plants arrived in perfect condition, and they bloomed twice that first year. The second year, most of them came back, and this time they bloomed three times. Visitors to my garden were wowed. This year four plants came back, and I’m expecting great flowers again. This is a terrific company. Highly recommend!

I placed an order to 5 different companies for the new red black-eyed Susan's. This company was the first to deliver and the plants are gorgeous!! I will order from them again for sure :-)

I ordered plants back in Feb so I would not miss out on the great variety they had and asked that they not be shipped until mid to late April for my zone. Had not heard anything about plants being shipped so sent an email. The next day the company CALLED!!! said they were just starting to ship and I should have my order in a day or two. I did and was very impressed with the size and quality of the plants and the packaging was great. The plants are doing very well and I look forward to ordering from this company again.

I placed an order for several varieties of perennials from W.W. Greenhouses. The plants I received were very large and in absolutely beautiful condition. This nursery uses the best packaging method for perennials I have ever seen. The innovative cardboard box dividers keep each plant in place during shipping. Not even one leaf was broken or damaged! Shipping charges are also waived if you order 9 plants or more. Great email communication. This is one of the best all-around on-line garden purchases I have made, and I would not hesitate to order again from this company.

Cannot say enough good about this company. I placed my order using their nice online system on a Friday evening and promptly received a personal email saying that they would check to make the plants in my early and rather large order of a brand new variety were looking good in the greenhouse. An email a day or so later told me the plants were looking good but coming along a bit slower than they'd like. I explained I'm in a sub-arctic (okay, Zone 4) microclimate and wouldn't mind waiting a little longer for stronger plants, and so we agreed they would ship on May 4. On that day, I received notice that they had shipped, and the plants arrived a day later, in unique packaging that protected them without smothering them. The plants are large, with great root systems, and within an hour or so of being out of the box were looking as relaxed and happy as any of the plants grown at the nearby nursery. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a new variety or this thrilled with a mail order experience. Will definitely order from W.W. Greenhouses again!

W.W. Greenhouses sent large, healthy plants. The customer service and communications were second to none. Dave was a real pleasure to do business with.

The best mail-order plants I have ever recieved. I've tried many, Bluestone Perennials, Spring Hill, Whiteflower Farms, etc., but these were amazing. So big and healthy--the packaging was amazing. Stems weren't spindly or damaged, leaves were beautiful, soil was moist. They made sure that conditions were right for shipping and that plants would be in the box for the least amount of time possible. And free shipping too! I will definately be using them from now on.

This was a fantasic purchase! I recently ordered 9 plants and they were on my doorstep in 5 days - and the shipping was free and the best I've experienced! Each plant was packaged with care - Nothing was damaged at all. I've been ordering plants through the mail for many years now, and I'll use this company again and again! My plants are growing and growing - and they look fantastic! Thanks W.W. Greenhouses for a great mail order experience!

On May 22nd, 2008, KR315 added the following: I received an e-mail from W.W. Greenhouses stating that the Trollius 'Golden Queen' I ordered was not up to their size standards. I thought that it looked good, but apparently they didn't think it was of the quality they wanted. They credited my card for the price of the plant, and apologized for not having taken off the price when they originally charged my card. WOW!!! This company is at the top of my list - the customer service is unbeatable! I very highly recommend that everyone check out their website - and if you order 9 plants or more, shipping (the best I've EVER seen) is FREE!!!! Thanks again W.W. for an incredible experience!

These guys are terrific! I was only planning on ordering five Gaillardia “Fanfare,” but if you order nine items, you get free shipping, so I added a gaillardia “Golden Goblin,” a Gaillardia “Burgundy”, a “Becky” daisy, and a coreopsis “Full Moon.” I placed my order on Friday, April 26, it was shipped on Monday, April 28, and arrived on Friday, May 2. The plants were all large and healthy looking, in 6” deep pots, not even wilted a little after being in the box for at least a week. The soil was still moist. They were packed excellently. The box had a nine-section cardboard divider, so each plant had its own little section that kept it from tipping over or getting smashed. Each was wrapped in a plastic sleeve with an open top and had a stake in the corner of the pot to keep the plant from getting crushed. The plastic was held over the soil with a rubber band, so it wouldn’t spill out. There wasn’t a broken stem or leaf in the bunch and a couple of the “fanfare” even had blooms. But this is the clincher for me…on the packing list was a note that stated “the Gaillardia ‘Golden Goblin’ is “a little too ‘stringy’ for our standards, so please accept this plant free of charge.” They had deducted the cost of the Golden Goblin from my total. I was very impressed. I honestly didn’t think the Golden Goblin looked too bad, but apparently they did, and they wanted to make it right. I will definitely be ordering from W.W. Greenhouses again and highly recommend them to others! They run a tip top business.

I ordered ten campanulas and received them on the date requested. The plants were packed well and none of them were damaged by the trip. The plants were well rooted in deep 3 1/2 inch pots. For the price the plants were fantastic and free shipping. I recommend this company highly.
