I have bought from this seller three times and have been quite pleased. The first two were purchased in the Summer of 2011: I bought Grace Ann in a 4" pot for my best friend's birthday. Don was kind enough to ship it directly to her to prevent extra stress on the plant. According to my best friend the cutting arrived in great shape and she loved it. It even developed a bud right away. A few weeks later I bought Tahitian Hula for myself for my birthday, which also arrived in great shape and was well rooted. The last purchase was made at the end of 2011. I ordered 4 cuttings with a gift card from my niece and received a total of 8! The cuttings were healthy and plump. They were packed well and arrived quickly. Communication was excellent as well.

I know him as dcravalho on EBAY and have bought from him 2-3 times. Has a great selection of potted and cuttings. The cuttings he sends are pretty big and healthy. Would be very hard NOT to get cuttings to root. Highly recommend.

I have bought a lot of plants from Don, from cuttings to pots. His epiphyllum are clean and probably underpriced at times. He is a first-class individual, welcome in my greenhouse anytime! Buy with confidence - he knows what he is doing!

What can I say? Don's the greatest! I've seen some of his stock plants In Fremont and all are clean and neat, His sales house was clean with no weeds or pilings that might harbor nasties. I've also bought larger plants at his Castroville location, also lovely plants. I've even bought plants online from him and every time he's shipped quickly, the next day after receiving payment. I cannot recommend him more highly. For epies, he's the best!

Don Cravalho has been a friend of mine for about 15 years and of the cactus and succulent community in the San Francisco Bay Area for many more years than that. We have worked together on many plant sales. I can speak from personal experience that he is of the highest character and integrity. My opinion is also that of anyone in the Bay Area who has come into contact with him. His word is his bond.

I first ordered some cuttings from Don when he had a sale. Since he didn't ship to Canada I had the cuttings sent to a friends brother in the US. Not only did the cuttings arrive there promptly, but they were then shipped to me in Canada and all arrived in perfect condition. They were all well-wrapped and labeled, and rooted quickly. I had a second order in September, also through friends, and then I was shipped (directly to my home this time!) some beautiful cuttings of varieties I had on a wish list at Epiforums. I understand he will try some shipments to Canada this year and I will definately order from him again. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I knew of Don through my experience at epiforums.com and requested a catalog that came to me in 5 days. Even though I have not yet ordered from him, he sent a Christmas present to me with a few cuttings that were in excellent condition. The cuttings arrived wrapped individually and clearly marked and even though it had been getting cold here, they were not damaged in any way. The next time I want to get some cuttings, I will go to Don in a heartbeat for the quality of the cuttings that I have recieved from him! Two thumbs way up!

I had ordered from Don's Epiphyllum World for the first time earlier this year. Don had a Nor-Cal special. He had made 1000 cuttings and offered them at $3 per cutting. This is a great price for the types of hybrids that were being offered. I placed the order through e-mail, and Don confirmed it in 2 days (he was at a Breast Cancer Walk). He said he would ship the following day (Friday) and sent me the paypal account information. I was out of state working when I received this e-mail. Needless to say, I had totally forgotten to make the payment. On Saturday, I got an e-mail from Don telling me that he sent the package. Keep in mind that I had not sent payment yet. I quickly replied apologizing and submitted payment for the order. At this point I was curious as to where he sent the cuttings since I didn't send him that information. I later learned he got my address from an earlier catalog mailing in the year. Whew.... thank goodness I didn't move. So the package arrived on Monday through priority mail and the first thing I noticed was that the postage was $8.55. I was only charged for $7.00! I opened the box and found a heavy duty transparent plastic bag that was filled with foam peanuts and cuttings. I'm sure the bag cost an extra .15 - .20 cents. On top of the bag was an envelope sealed with the invoice inside. I quickly ran through it to confirm my items and noticed at the bottom were 4 free cuttings!! 3 duplicates from my list and an new one that I had not ordered. This brought my cutting cost down to $2.40. The sizes of the cuttings ranged from 10" to 13". That's right. The total average size of the cuttings was 12.25"!!! Cuttings were all clean of blemishes. They were healthy and plump! If asked if I would purchase from Don again... in a heartbeat. Even for a sale, this went far beyond expectations. The fact that Don put trust into sending me my order without receiving payment first is sort of scary, but a warm trusting feeling. I continued to order a couple more times later in the year. And he has never dissappointed yet. One one occassion, the plant didn't survive the stress of the travel and he immediately sent a replacement and even tried to help revive the original plant.
