I ordered a Glen Navel orange tree and it arrived well packaged and it good shape. The tree was healthy and doing well. No hesitation to order again.

Very happy to find out about this citrus nursery! I bought two plants from them, one shiranui mandarin and a meiwa kumquat. They do take a little longer than most to ship their trees but the wait is well worth it. Very full trees for the price. I am a little disappointed that their trees are staked so tightly, it does seem to make the trunks a little weak, and the canopy of the shiranui mandarin was a little top heavy. But they should strengthen up nicely after repotting. I will definitely buy from them again!

Harris Citrus Nursery is a Wholesale Nursery and sells retail only as a courtesy. I have been buying trees there for 10 years or more and have always been completely satisfied. Mrs Harris is a very nice and helpful person.

I visited them in person and overall had a positive experience. I ended up getting 6 small citrus trees and one larger one. I wish they had more larger ones available. I feel the prices I paid were reasonable. For those who don't mind waiting the smaller trees are an excellent deal. They are not really a place you can go and browse around. I was hoping for a retail shop where citrus plants are removed from quarantine for retail sale. This was not the case but it may be hard for them to do due to their vast variety. If you know what you want and want to save on shipping visit them in person. If you are ordering online their smaller plants all look very healthy and are grown in state-of-the-art greenhouses. I would order from them again. Thanks,

I had an overall great experience w/ this company. Initially there was issues w/ the condition of the delivered product. This was entirely due to mishandling by UPS, but Harris Citrus took it upon themselves to take care of the problem promptly and very professionally. I am excited about the beautiful specimens I now have and definitely plan to do business with them again.

I ordered 5 citrus -- one being a 5 gal. At $10.00 each for shipping I thought it was a deal. Order came 3 days ago & boxes were crushed. The 5 gal should really be considered a 3 gal. 3 of the five had Leafminers! Leaves were curled & brown. The one plant w/ fruits lost 2 of 8 in shipping . Thank god no branches were broken. I would give them a negative if Ruth hadn't sent me a free sample of fish emulsion & some fertilizer. On my 5 gal. Moro blood orange (really a 3 gal), there are now several branches w/ no leaves. I took the bad ones off & rest fell off. Some one else who ordered from them said their 5 gal was 5 ft high & 4 ft wide. Mine is 42 inches high (from floor) & less than 2 ft wide. I feel sorta cheated. Hope I got rid of the leaf miners --I sprayed w/F.emulsion they gave me (maybe that's why they gave it for free!)

She told me to send the plants back for a full refund which was VERY NICE of her (of course not to be resold!). I also think she was right when she said the 'other' person may have exaggerated her tree being 5 ft. high. The box it came in was just over 4 ft!! She's a very nice person, but they should not send trees that have leafminers! Many leaves were affected & I found 3 with larvea. On the Garden Web, people say it won't hurt the tree or fruit, just take all the bad leaves off & get rid of the LM. I hear that in Fl., LM are normal (?). I decided to keep the trees as it would cost me more to ship them back, & I think I got rid of the LM but I'll have to watch...they may be in the soil. I do appreciate the quick response from Ruth!

I ordered two citrus trees, Ponderosa Lemon, and Kaffir Lime, from Harris and was quite happy upon arrival. Each tree was over 3' tall, and one had fruit. I recommend shopping at Harris..Prices are exceptional, and shipping is more than reasonable. Next spring I plan on ordering more citrus from Harris.

On November 8th, 2006, Toni05 added the following: I received a beautiful Meiwa Kumquat today from Harris. The owner made sure to send this plant during a time it wouldn't be sitting in a warehouse over the holidays..With election and now Veterans Day. From bottom of pot to uppermost leaves, it's stands 46"..How can anyone go wrong at 15.00 a tree? It also has four fruits, almost mature. Again, packaging was excellently done..A screw was screwed from the box to the pot so the tree would be stable during shipment. Anyone interested in citrus should go to their site and check out what's available..

I was very pleased with the 5 trees I recieved from harris citrus. All came expertly packed and in great condition. They all were well over 3 feet high. My ponderosa lemon even came with a large lemon on it! Also along with my order, they sent me a bottle of Orangic Fish fertilizer, for free! The customer service is second to none! Both Ruth and Tamera are very nice and helpful. Ruth treated me like I was her only customer. She spent close to an hour going out and hand selecting my trees herself. And after I recieved my trees Ruth personally called me to ask how i liked them. I was very impressed! These tree's are well worth the $15. If Harris wanted to, they could get much more for these Top notch, quality trees. You can never go wrong with this company. If I had the space and the money I would by thousands of trees from Harris Citrus!
