Great experience. I sent an email to ask about availability of the cultivar I wanted, which was very attractively priced. The response was prompt and the cultivar was in stock. I sent an order form with a check on Wednesday and received the order eight days later. Fans are a nice size. Very pleased.

My order of 2 daylilies came on my requested shipping week. The daylilies look great. They also sent a bonus a double fan that was huge. I will order from them again. Very prompt with their e-mails and service.

This was my first time ordering from this seller.I ordered double fans of two older varieties (Wild's 'Brave World' and Reckamp's 'Heavenly Crown'). I received a clump of 'Brave World' and 3 nice sized fans of 'Heavenly Crown'. The root systems were very nice. Plants were freshly dug and prices were extremely reasonable. I would order from again.

I ordered four varieties from Chuck and Jenny and picked them up yesterday. They were very healthy and good size fans. Chuck was very good about getting back to my inquiry quickly and was easy to communicate with. I visited during their open gardens this past summer and it was a pleasure. I highly recommend stopping in to see them! It's obvious that they really take pride in their plants.

David and I visited the Bluegrass Daylily farm and Chuck in June. It's so worth the trip (8 hours for us)! Chuck was great and answered all our questions. Our liles we have bought this year from him are blooming like crazy ...... you should see Spiderman! We plan to visit with Chuck again on our next Lily Farm tour. There is a little bit of heaven in Shelbyville KY! Linda Stevens

We have ordered daylilies from Chuck and Jenny for the last two years. We've always been pleased with their health and performance in the garden. This year we got to visit them in person. Their gardens are beautifully landscaped; well worth the trip if you live in the area or are passing through. They gave us big clumps of everything, plus a nice bonus. Very nice, friendly people!

I ordered 10 plants from them this year. Overall the plants were decent size. Two of the varieties, Fellows and Indian Giver (I had ordered 3 of this one), were substantially smaller than the other plants sent. I did contact Chuck and he responded that these plants generally had smaller fans. He offered to refund my money if I wanted to return the plants. I went ahead and kept them and will see how they turn out. Good communication through the order process and the plants were packaged well.

I ordered from Chuck in 2004. Our phone conversation was very pleasant and since I only live 30 miles or so from them, he shipped the plants on my word that I was mailing a check that day. They were some of the first daylilies I had ordered through the mail. I've ordered many since then and in comparison, his were nice, healthy plants, better than many I've received since. He sent extra fans of the 2 daylilies I ordered as a bonus. Sorry it's taken me so long to post your feedback :-) Vicki

Web site says 'we send double divisions or better.' I ordered 3 'double divisions or better' of Orange Tremor at $12.00 each. Plants arrived, with only 2 'double divisions or better.' I sent email, no response. I called. Owner stated that he had sent 2 triple fans in place of 3 'double divisions or better.' He stated he could have broke the 3 fan divisions apart to give me 2 double fans and 2 single fans. Orange tremors also looked very bad, half dried up and brown. Bonus plant was more dried up than they were. Will not do business with this company again. Beware.

Company representative comment on June 13, 2006:
Customer seems to forget that he also ordered other plants that we were very generous with (or just has sellective memory), gave a bonus, and was told that Orange Tremor was limited in is first email asking about availability.

He said he emailed, but, none was received after his verification of payment email.

He ordered 3 plants (6 fans) and got his six fans. I suppose if they were all left in one clump of 6 he would expect 2 more clumps of 6 in order to make his "3". What about taking advantage of the seller.

Some people have nothing better to do than to sit around and be crabby and expect everyone should give them everything. It appears that he is used to getting his way and firing off emails or critacal words.

His concern was answered when he called and after I verified what was shipped and when.

Again, most people can do simple math. Sorry for this long explaination but this one just got under my skin.

By the way, this crabby customer will not have to worry about purchasing anything else from us.

Anyone is free to contact me about my policys, standards, or business through the web site and all contacts will be answered.

Customer also did not mention the shape of the daylilies, Orange Tremor or the others. Just concerned that he did not get his 3 separate double fans of OT.

Some times it just does not pay to try to help others.

Plants were dug and prepared on Sunday the 4th and shipped first thing Monday the 5th priority mail that would take 2 days to receive. Maybe customer forgot to plant them.....
