I have purchased from Womack several times. Always with good results. Last season I purchased three low chill cherry trees and an Illinois Everbearing Mulberry from them. All arrived safely and packaged well. The Illinois Everbearing Mulberry arrived with a really nice root system and really took off. Thank you Womack.

I purchased 38 Pecan trees from TYTY . They all took , then 4 winter killed . TYTY replaced them , per their warranty . Over the next 3 - 4 years all the rootstocks failed , the grafts dieing first then the rootstocks . Only had one tree / graft survive . Nearly all the rootstocks re-grew and now over 6 ft and need grafting . Talked to Womack Tech -- apparently the Georgia rootstock is not compatable with Oklahoma weather ????

Early this spring I ordered via telephone: 1 Favorite grape 1 Thompson Seedless grape 1 Mars Grape 1 Reliance grape 1 All-in-one Almond tree 1 Dixieland peach on Halford rootstock 1 Brown Turkey Fig All materials that arrived where in excellent condition, but the Thompson Seedless was not to be found. I called Womack explained my missing grape, they said it was sold out apologized and refunded the cost of the grape + shipping. All the plants have sprouted and are doing well despite the brutal freezes we had in the beginning of spring. I'll definitely order again!

I bought a dozen Favorite grape vines. They arrived well packed and in perfect condition despite delayed delivery. Several vines were budding near root joints, and successfully split thereby increasing the effective number of vines. All vines took off with great vigor. For comparison, I received a purchase of Black Spanish grapes from another vendor ... 50% loss. Obviously, future purchases will be made through Womack.

Posted on February 5, 2009, updated March 11, 2011 This is the fourth year that we have ordered fruit trees and grapes from this company. The plants always arrive in good condition and all have thrived. We have also ordered their pecan grafts several times and my husband has had remarkable success with the grafts. This year I called to make one change on our order from a Wonderful pomegranate to the Sweet, and was told it would not be a problem. When the order arrived there was not a pomegranate in the box. I emailed the company over the weekend (knowing they were closed) to explain the missing plant. When I arrived home on Tuesday there was a box in the drive from the nursery with the missing pomegranate. I appreciated the way they prompty sent the plant at no additional cost to me, especially since my changing the order probably messed up their shipping in the first place.

On March 11th, 2011, skaggs88 added the following: Another year with quality bare rooted peach and plum trees received from Womack's. Ordered blackberries and they appear healthy and extras were sent in our order. Last year was the first time we had a tree that did not leaf out (one other persimmmon did fine though) so I called the nursery in June to let them know our Fuyu never came out. When I placed our order this year the nursery gave me no problem about replacing the tree from last year...I really appreciate a company that honors their guarantee...their policy is 1/2 price and that is acceptable to me.

First I will say that the pecan and jujube tree I received from Womack two days ago apear excellent. But, some other items I got I was very disappointed with. I ordered ten M111 rootstocks, they were mislabeled as "Holland" and when I inquired about this I was told they were failed graft material that were previously attempted. This is not a quality product I have paid for, a mislabeled, previously used rootstock that is how old? Then, I ordered a Texas Everbearing fig tree that was supposed to be 3-4 feet tall. What I received was barely over a foot tall, had buds which were dried to a crisp, and obviously would not sprout, and was not even rooted in the pot it had been hastily stuffed into, and appeared dried out. This was a real disappointment. We paid good money for these trees and expected a quality product. Womack might be very good for nut trees but be careful with other products. They were not especially friendly or helpful over the phone. 2/5 stars

Womack was the only source for the "Favorite" variety of Black Spanish grape that I could find. So, I ordered the grapevines plus a fig tree and roses on a Tuesday. The plants arrived on Thursday of the same week. The plants were all carefully packaged and in good condition. Womack even provided extras for each plant ordered. Very good company. Will purchase from them again.

Purchased over 75 bare root pecan trees this past spring. We haven't lost a tree and most are doing great. The owners made suggestions on varieties suited to our climate which is appreciated. The service we received was terrific and the trees delivered in great condition (we are in north central NM).

I bought two bare root persimmons Feb 2008. The plants looked very good when they arrived and both put out leaves as soon as the weather warmed and have been vigorous since. I got persimmons from three other places and the ones from Womack were the best of them all (two from TyTy were the worst; they ended up dying). The packaging was very good.

positive: all plants are making it. I ordered two pecans, two apples, and some blackberries. Blackberries, two out of the 5 are sprouting. Kind of pricey for the sucess rate. One pecan tree is not leafing out, but you know pecan trees, they are the last ones to leaf out, I notice very little growth on the buds, so I think in a week or two it will leaf out. The roots on the pecan tree were awesome, almost longer then the tree/trunk itself. That is one thing I like about the nursery. Thats more then two years of growth, once these two pecan trees are established, they will grow quickly, no doubts. Packaging was decent.... no box, however the paper/tape did seem to do a good job. Only took two days to get here because its only a 12 hour drive from where I live to the nursery, meaning short ups delivery.

I ordered blackberry cuttings in January. They were delivered promptly. Staff offered alot of advice and information over phone. My DH called them several times. We ordered 2000 cuttings and recieved more than ordered. They were mosit and very fresh when they arrived. I am happy to report that they are coming up like crazy. Loads of purple canes sprouting! I will be ordering raspberries and nut trees from Womack this year!

Good prices, good-quality trees, good customer service. My large order arrived in about 2 weeks and included rose bushes, various trees and fruit trees, berries, and grapes, all bareroot and dormant. 2 months later all plants are alive and leafing out, despite bad local weather. The 4-5' pear trees (9 total) look especially good.

I have ordered pecans, plums, peaches, and grapes from this company. Everything was large sized and arrived promptly. A very professional company that does a good job. When they made a variety substitution that I did not agree with they promptly refunded my money. One of the best I have ordered from.

I have been looking for a source for native pecan trees. I have just found Womack nursery. They have good prices for bare root trees. They have a good selection of pecan and fruit trees that will grow well in the south. I placed a order in Feb. 2001. I received the order with a refund for out of stock items all within 10 days. I was pleased with the pecan and pear trees I received. I plan to order peaches and grapes next year.
