I've been surprised each time I visit Joshua's by a plant I'd never seen before. He has an astonishing collection and vast knowledge. He puts most other plant stores to shame. pammyzon

First rate place. I am conflicted between revealing this treasure to more people or keeping it a secret....

This wonderful nursery, in the Historic Heights district of Houston is a joy for native plant lovers..Well organized, the plants were healthy looking, tagged, priced and generally with information about growing conditions..We loved it...

Joshua's is one of my favorite local nurserys. Great selection of plants, an antique store to browse, and very friendly and helpful staff. They also have a big selection of large ceramic pot fountains. The fact that the parking lot is packed on the weekend is proof that it's a Houston favorite. Now notice they have moth cocoons available for sale! Oh, have to make another visit. Uh Joshua, just in case you see this...the wooden sitting buddha was a big hit with the birthday girl. Tears even! Susan
