from Houston, TX First visit today, May 28th, 2016. What a TREASURE. Dragonfruit for half of what I could order it online, Beautiful large malibar spinach, soooo many many varieties of citrus and edible forest plants. Some of the staff did not speak english and some interesting looking plants had no labels, but that was not nearly enough to take away from the wonderful experience of seeing a plant catalogue come to life. It is a 35 minute drive for me and worth every minute. | |

We went on a Saturday, there was NO crowd, and oh mercy....I cannot count how many greenhouses there were, they have any plant you can imagine wanting as far as I am concerned, and everything was in top notch condition. We bought some outstanding coleus and are going back this weekend. | |

from Houston, TX (Zone 9a) Who knew the gardening Mecca was in Pearland Texas! I went to Joseph's for the first time yesterday and it is so impressive. This place is like a huge amusement park full of beautiful plants (without the rides and funnel cake). The selection is incredible (25 acres of plants) and the prices are very reasonable. If you plan on going, be wise, make it a day trip. | |
