I happened to pick this magazine up while in the Edmonton airport a few years ago & have been a subscriber ever since. They now have the regular Gardens West & the Prairie Edition Gardens West, which is designed for the colder zones(1-3). Always have a bird article & also a bug article. Nice photos.

I have picked this magazine up from news stands several times and may decide to subscribe. It is aimed especially at the British Columbia and Washington gardeners but most of the articles appear to apply to Oregon also. Different points of view and different advertisers from the usual in the United States increase the interest.
