Hen & Chicks

Beware of this company! Their website is great with lots to choose from. I ordered $50.00 worth because I was so impressed with their inventory. They have only one means of payment using paypal. There is no phone number or address listed on their site, only an e-mail address. I ordered on Feb 2, Received an e-mail on the 16th with them wanting to make one substitution. I immediately responded with an ok. They stated that the plants would go out that Thurs. I have never heard from them again and no plants. I have e-mailed them no less than 20 times with no response. Beware of this company. They basically are defrauding people. It is a shame, cause they have such a nice representation of sempervivums! I hate leaving this negative, but also hate to see anyone else left high and dry with no plants!!! There is a good reason they don't leave any other info for contact on their site!!

I am sorry to say I spent $30 dollars and never received my plants from henandchicks.com. I initially received an email apologizing for the late order, but then never received my plants. I sent 5 more emails with no replys. I guess I will not see my plants or money. Be warned.

I ordered 4 plants from this company in late Spring 2003, which arrived 10 days after I placed my online order. I was worried at first because no acknowledgement was sent and it took some days for a return email, however I was not disapointed! The plants looked exactly like the photographs on the website when they arrived and have been healthy and thriving for months now. Highly recommended !!

I'm very happy with my new plants! No problems in ordering, and they have lots of hen and chicks to choose from with pictures. I'll be a repeat customer.

A garden web friend passed this site on to me and I gave it a try. WOW! Great plants, great prices! It seems to be a new company on the net, with a great selection of pictured semps to choose from. I purchased my first shipment from them two weeks ago. They shipped right away with no problems. I opened a well packaged box to find very healthy, labeled sempervivums. There is a repeat customer here. The only problem.... too many semps to choose from! Their site also makes a great plant identifier for those of us that have plenty of unnamed sempervivums. Check it out!
