I Ordered a pair of shoe strechers through this company because all other manufacturers sold one strecher for twice the price, so it seemed like a good deal. I ordered the item and was told it would be 2 weeks till delivery... i waited and then sent them an e-mail and they said it was backordered and would be another 2 weeks. I kept waiting the 2 weeks, and e-mailing and i did not recieve the item until 5 months after i ordered it origionally, and was never once offered an apology! Now, the first time i used the strechers, the wooden heel part cracked, but it did not effect the product and i didnt want to bother with returning them and waiting another 5 months for a new set! Yesterday, the third time i used them however, the one that was already cracked completely busted and is now unusable (it was the metal that broke this time, nothing to do with the previous wooden crack). So i came online today to try and find comtact info so that i can get this sraightened out, and there is no e-mail on their site, only phone numbers that charge long distance. i do not have the e-mail that i used before, so now i have to either suck it up, or phone long distance and spend more money on a product that broke! I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere! this company lacks quality and customer service! And if anyone knows their e-mail, could you please send it to me?

Buyer Beware My 12 year old found a c.d. online entitled "Worship Jams". I looked up the company to find out if it was a legitimate entity. Upon finding alltvstuff.com, I contacted the company to be sure they were a member of the better business bureau in their area. I have learned from past experiences that its better to do business with the companies who make themselves members of their local or state better business bureau. They replied they were not. I tried to read the privacy and security statements and they were timed out. My search for buyer experiences with the company led me here. I would like to send a buyer beware that more calls led me to find out that there are only 2 customer service representatives, the company does not offer a shipping guarantee for the advertised 48 hours and although I was told by Ginger the company had been in business for 20 years, research on their local business licenses showed they have only been in business 9. Again this is just a warning. - Consumer Washington Metropolitan Area Resident

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. To begin - their customer service is non-existent. They do not respond to any emails. ANY! And their phone number does not work, so you cannot reach anyone if there is a problem. And - they refuse returns, so if there is a problem, you have to suck it up and move on. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. I recommend you stay far away. There are hundreds of other companies that sell the same products.

If you place an order with this company,SMI Sales, you are risking the possibility you may not receive the order in a timely manner. Recommend using another provider who stands behind their delivery agreements. This is a case of false delivery claims, continued shipping delays, and the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. Situation is as follows: Placed Order with Company on June 22, 2004. The product was listed as a clearance item, which would arrive via UPS within 7 to 10 business days. Next day received email notification that item was on backorder and would be two weeks before item available for shipment. After two weeks, sent email to check status. I was told it would be another week before item available for shipment. Again, waited the week and then sent request for the shipping charges to be removed if the items had not already been shipped to my location. I received an email from Victoria West, office manager, stating that she was the supervisor and to explain the situation to her. I then proceeded to give her a detailed explanation as to when and why I placed the order with her company, which now were all made on false pretenses. The company had not delivered as advertised and I requested that since the product was already three weeks past due that they ship my order for free. Shipping charges were less than $16. My email was ignored. I again waited two weeks. It has now been 5 weeks since the order was placed. I sent a follow up email to the sales associate and Victoria West requesting an update as to the status of my order and request for free shipping. The sales associate informed me the order would not be available for shipment until August 13. Nearly 8 weeks from when the order was originally placed. Victoria, responded with, "And exactly what do you think should be free?" Let me point out that Victoria responded with the above question to a chain of emails which had all previous correspondence between her company and myself. The previous emails clearly stated that I was requesting free shipping since they had not delivered the goods as originally stated and one detailed email was specifically written to her, after she requested me to explain the situation. Since Victoria West typed her responses using red text and their web site uses Red Text (bolded) to grab the customers attention to points they wish to highlight on their website, I chose to use this same method when I responded. My response to Victoria West quickly described again the situation, to include the fact, that it would now be nearly 8 weeks before my order would even be shipped from their location to mine. Please keep in mind that all previous emails are included with this response which again had clearly outlined the request. I therefore went back through the previous emails and used Red text and bolded every mention of Free Shipping. The response I recieved from Ms West was, "I will not ship for free and I don't care for your big red letters." From a business professional standpoint she could have told me three weeks ago when I made my initial request for free shipping that they did not offer free shipping due to supplier delays. I would have cancelled my order and been done with SMI Sales. But she ignored my request. The lack of response made me fasely assume that she had taken care of the matter and the shipping charges would not appear on my statment. I responded to Victoria with a quick statement as to why I used Bolded Red Text. Her response was as follows: "Sorry...I didn't use bold red...did I??? I am sorry that you feel this should be free but please understand our position... IF we shipped everything free..we would be out of business. How is 1/2?" At this point I am completely taken aback by the unprofessionalism of this supervisor. I made a request with Ms. West that she provide me with the contact information to her supervisor. Again I was ignored. So, I sent a request to cancel my order stating that it should come as no surprise since the Better Business Bureau had given SMI Sales, Inc of Alpharetta, GA an unstaisfactory record due in no small part to misleading advertising, false delivery claims, and poor customer service just to name a few of the complaints. I then requested that she confirm receipt of the cancellation. Victoria's final response, "Yes, unfortunatley there is no place to report customers who are a pain." This is the type of unprofessional, rude treatment you can expect from SMI Sales of Alphretta, GA.
