from Fallbrook, CA I've ordered several times from the Fern Factory over the last 10 plus years. Each time I've been very pleased. My order from last month, as just the latest example, was sent promptly, was securely packaged for the journey and the plants were of the highest quality. I've never had a bad experience with this nursery. Highly recommended! | |

from Columbia, MD Posted on December 30, 2016, updated December 30, 2016 Kit was nice. Included all needed as described. Had opposite experience as other reviewers for plants. The plant was shipped in freezing temperatures without any questions on whether we wanted to delay, no options for heat pack, etc. No response or acknowledgement from company after we let them know. I felt it was poor value given what we spent in total including shipping, which did not protect the merchandise. Couldn't recommend overall. On December 30th, 2016, Wallgreene changed the rating from neutral to positive and added the following: Update: my email to them wasn't received when they were on break. As soon as they returned, I did receive a reply and prompt refund for the damaged plant. (Looks like a UPS problem, FYI for collectors who can't find something locally.) | |

The plants arrived yesterday and I was very impressed with the packing technique. Oh yeah, the ferns looked great too. I'm not a huge fern guy but if I have more needs I'll be sure to come back to this place. On February 22nd, 2010, SDCA added the following: I've just received the my 2nd order with Fern Factory. 2 and a half years later and the packaging is still top notch. It is in fact, the exact same technique as the first time and it couldn't be much more secure. All this packaging is of course to protect the great quality plants that they sell. I'll be back again someday. | |

My order was slightly altered to make shipping practical, and the amount charged was altered accordingly (perfectly understandable). I was worried about the temperature since the ferns were shipped from CA to IN during the winter. All ferns arrived in perfect condition. I even received a call from the owner who wanted to make sure the plants were in good shape. He also gave tips for keeping the ferns healthy. I would definitely order from this company again. | |

Tree ferns arrived in excellent shape and had extensive protection. Staghorn ferns same high quality. Would buy from them again. | |
