IAbout HarvesTime Nursery It happen to me at ebay. I order 2 items online. After payment I contacted the owner on the items and feedback. He never answer. I did leave negative feedback for this transaction. He got upsad. He said I can't read and all sort of things. I truely believe he run a very unprofessional business. I would suggest everyone pay close attention for this business. I really don't have time for people like that. All I want is my product. But now what I really got is waste my time. Now he is very upsad and decided to refund my money and not to send the items. I don't know what kind of business he is running!

There isn't enough space nor time to post all of the comments I have for this guy! First of all, he did purchase and pay for a plant through Ebay. Based on our POSTED shipping info, his order did not qualify for same-week shipping as the payment was received after the POSTED cut-off time. However, since the order was small, I decided to ship it the same week anyway. Approx. 2 days after the order was shipped, we rec'd a negative FB....a total of 5 days had passed since pymt was received. (By the way, we also send shipment notifications via email to each customer once their order has been shipped.) Since we felt that the neg FB was undeserved, we responded with a neg FB for him also. The next day, we had a transaction for 1 plant by a "different" Ebay member. Less than 24 hours later, we received ANOTHER neg FB for THAT transaction. After further investigation, I found that the second transaction was by this same guy and he had used a different ID to make a purchase for the sole reason of leaving retalitory FB. I contacted Ebay and they removed the 2nd neg based on this fact. He did send pymt for the 2nd plant once he realized that he was caught, but we promptly refunded the money and cancelled the transaction.By the way, this guy's FB scores are "3" and "-3"....this should speak for his reputation. In the meantime, he had contacted us by email which is what he should have done to begin with if he had questions/concerns. He informed us that "customers are always right no matter what" and proceeded to tell us how to run our business. Since we were having so much trouble and were now being harrassed almost hourly by him, we decided it would be in the best interest of both parties to simply cancel the transaction. We contacted the courier and asked that they stop delivery and return the plant to us. We also contacted the customer and informed him of this and issued a refund. We also asked that he stop harrasssing us...he had his money refunded and he was more than welcome to take his business elsewhere. He filed a dispute with Ebay and we responded with all of the requested shipping info. He closed this dispute within 24 hours. After several DAYS of harrassing emails, he finally decided to leave us alone...at least that is what we thought. He had gotten the user IDs of several customers who had bid on other items and began contacting them and telling them that we did not honor our orders. We also contacted Ebay about this, but for some reason, he has not been removed from Ebay.Bottom line, this guy is nuts! If he had simply read the shipping info that was posted on the auction, we could have avoided this whole mess. Instead, he thinks that he can dictate policy simply because he THINKS things should be his way! We fully believe that if we had allowed the plant to be delivered that he would have let it die or simply continued to tell lies just to get a refund or a replacement. We do offer 30 day guarantees on our plants through Ebay and this would have guaranteed us 30 more days of H*** from this nutcase! We have a good FB rating on Ebay.....most customers are very happy and many of them are repeat customers. It's the ones who are nutty and have nothing better to do who spend much of their time looking for ways to hurt a business/person just because they have a warped way of thinking. This guy is just looking for a way to retaliate simply because he got caught. He violated Ebay policy more than once and he has multiple negative FBs. If you are an Ebay seller, beware of this guy....he uses the ID's of "carcassi1760" and "violinbow123"....

Ordered 5 azalea plants off ebay on December 29,2006. I am writing this feedback on January 22, 2007. Have not received my order as of yet. They have my money from the day I ordered the plants. I was not advised of any delays in shipping when the order was placed. The shipping was to be done by Priority Mail which takes 2-3 days. The distance from Alabama to mid Florida was not that far. After several e-mails, they informed me they were too busy to ship the plants as originally stated when I purchased them. The last e-mail stated that the plants were shipped on January 12. 10 days later, I am STILL WAITING!!!!

This customer did place her order as described above and her order was shipped on 1/12/07. As for the delay, we did experience delays in shipping due to the backlogs at USPS and UPS, the weather and the holidays/PO closings. We do have an auto-reply email that is sent to EACH customer with this information. Also, in EACH of our listings, it clearly states that although we do ship weekly, orders may be delayed due to peak shipping times and/or weather. This customer did in fact inquire about her order via email...she received an explanation and an apology regarding her order. We also informed her that her order had been shipped via USPS Priority Mail, we gave her an approximate arrival date and we explained that her Delivery Confirmation information had been sent in a separate email. We asked her to please contact us if she did not receive the package within 3 business days and we also told her to feel free to contact us with any other questions/concerns that she may have regarding her order. She contacted us yesterday, 7 days after her previous email. (Since we had not heard back from her, we had assumed that she had received her order.) I have contacted USPS today trying to locate her package. Since I have had no luck so far, I will send out replacement plants tomorrow. We clearly state in our policies that we have a plant guarantee and that we will work to resolve any problems that arise....we simply ask that the customer contact us and give us a chance. We enjoy what we do and we want our customers to be 100% satisfied. We have a very good rating on Ebay...most customers are very happy with their plants and many are repeat customers. It is unfortunate that some people expect more in the way of courtesy/respect than they themselves are willing to give.

Purchased 10 azaleas from this company via ebay; I was looking for a particular color that was unavailable locally. There was a bit of confusion as they were switching from one shipping source to another (from FedEx to UPS) and I became concerned when the shipment went out later in the week as this meant it would sit in shipping over the weekend. Shipment was received early the following week and planted the day it was received. The plants came in gallon pots with newspaper as padding; some branches had lost leaves but that was to be expected with the handling during shipment. No broken branches. Unfortunately, out of the 10 plants received and planted, only three have survived. Several weeks after planting, the others slowly began to shrivel and die. They remain planted with the hopes (on my part) that there may still be some life in the root system with possible recovery (my partner doubts this). Azaleas are easily available plants in Georgia and we've planted many from local nurseries. They are shallow rooted plants that do well when they are not planted deeply and they do well in partial shaded areas (which we have). They do well in acid soil (which is what our soil is). I do not know if the stress from shipping did these in. I am giving a neutral (not negative) rating because perhaps it is not wise to purchase azaleas that need to be shipped.

Company representative comment on November 2, 2004:
This customer did, in fact, purchase 10 azaleas from us on 8/6/04. They were shipped on 8/12/04, and she received them on 816/04. We were in the process of changing shippers, and we did notify each customer via email of the 1 to 2 day delay in shipping, prior to the orders being shipped...(confusion??) As for the azaleas in question; this customer NEVER has tried to contact us regarding any problems with these plants. During the initial plant purchase, we had contact with her via email several times; our phone number and address are also posted on our sites--she had to know how to get in touch with us. We also have a return policy posted on our sites---we stand firmly behind each and every plant that we sell. This customer seemed to be very concerned about her "dying" plants- but never once mentioned trying to do anything about it. Why didn't she contact us, or a local professional or nurseryman for advice?? Did she try to treat the plants with a fungicide, pesticide, etc? It is VERY doubtful that these plants died from "shipping shock" 5 to 6 weeks AFTER they were shipped. There are plenty of nurseries across the US that ship azaleas every day, including us. We have been growing azaleas for over 20 years; we have a website as well as listings on Ebay.In the last 6 months alone, we have received over 800 positive feedback comments on Ebay. Our record speaks for itself. We take pride in providing high-quality plants at affordable prices, and we strive to provide the best customer service possible. It is unfortunate that, no matter how you try, you just cannot please some people.

Had a slight SNAFU with my order and subsequent attempt to get it straightened out, but "all's well that ends well". The owner was very nice and patient with me. The problem in communication was due to an older e-mail address at our PayPal account. Bottom line, they have a very nice assortment of azaleas, conifers, and miscellaneous shrubs at very good prices. I will definitely be ordering from this company again.
