Per note from the owners, December 4, 2004:
After a great deal of deliberation and prayer, we have made the decision that it is best for our families that we cease our Peddling of Roses -- at least during this stage in our lives. Serving you all -- by far the creme de la creme of the Rose World -- has been a unique privilege and pleasure. We extend our heartfelt thanks for your patronage and cheery emails. To say that we are going to miss you is an immense understatement.
At our initiation, the Rose Peddler rose inventory is being purchased by Ashdown Roses of Landrum, South Carolina. When we made this proposal to Paul Zimmerman, he expressed an enthusiastic interest in our Antique Roses for Southern Gardens and we are confident that Ashdown Roses will serve you well in our stead. Please patronize them with your future Antique Rose purchases. They can be contacted by clicking on the link above.
Now, you can take the girls out of the Business, but just try to take them out of the Roses! Our rose fever and fervor continue. We'd love to stay in touch, so our personal emails are listed below. Perhaps we will have the opportunity to meet many of you at future Rose events. We look forward to it!

Very good rose vendor. They have really nice, large plants, very well packaged and great care taken in their selections. The roses I have received from them have made my garden a much more fragrant and lovely place. Nice ladies with a good product. | |

from San Antonio, TX (Zone 8b) Wonderful ladies to deal with. Extremely friendly , and helpful. Ship exactly when they say they will with nice plants. I ordered three Roses Mlle. Franziska Kruger, Perle D'or, and Phyllis Bide. They also included a free plant. It is a pleasure to recieve such great service. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. | |
