Ordered an item on 5-24-17 then paid immediately via paypal. Order was cancelled on 5-25-17 and a refund was issued on 5-25-17. I never received any communication from Russo as to why order was cancelled or even to just let me know it was cancelled. If you cannot deliver what you show as in stock and available, you should not be showing it. Seems a lot like false advertising to me! You lost a possible repeat customer with multiple tractors that will need parts sometime. Only positive in this whole thing was that I did not get screwed out of my money.

I purchased my first comercial rider localy, only to find I was very disappointed in my purchase as well as the local servicing dealer. Wanting to rid myself of a ripe lemmon,I found I had paid way too much for my machine in reference to trade in value. A fellow LCP brought me some ads from Russo Power Equipment. I could not beleive the prices. I placed a call to Russo on their toll free number and spoke directly with Tony Russo. After talking with Tony he assured me as much support as possible if I were to purchase a new mower from them. Tony also quoted me a price that was approximately $3000.00 less than the local dealers qoute on a 61"ZTR Bobcat mower(great machine!!) Russo's has given me great service as far as parts and advice on equipment repairs. Prices on parts are fantastic and usually half of what I would pay locally. This kind of service is fantastic compared to any kind of local service I have received. I will continue to do business with Russo's even though I live and operate my lawn care service 6 hours away. One more thing. I'm certain that Russo's has customers who purchase a lot more than I. But every year when I go to the Mid Am show in Chicago ,Tony always can pick my face out of a large crowd, remembers my name and my eqiupment purchases. Thank You Russo Power Equipment.

Recently purchased a Toro Snowblower. Very positive experience. Easy to place order. I received my product delivery a few days later in good condition. Good price. Would definitely recommend. Got their name on E-Bay. PS: I do NOT normally write reviews. Just thought this deserved a kudo for everything going right.

As the owner of a landscape company in Wisconsin, I had the pleasure of receiving a sale brochure from Russo's. In it I could not believe the prices or the money I could save. I gave them a call and talked with a couple of they're salesmen. What a pleasure it was to order parts and have them delivered to me - less expensive and time consuming then going to my usual parts distributor. I would recommend anyone who wants to save time and money (professional or homeowner) give them a call; they even have a toll free number-1-877-367-8776. I also found out to ask when you call if they are having a rain day, it really gets busy at that time. The next day I have a rain day, I plan on taking a trip to Chicago and meet these people.

Two days ago I found Russo Power Equipment on the internet as a supplier of Mantis Tllers.Their price was so low that I was very suspicious. However, I called them on their landline and found them very professional, very informed and ready to take my order. They offered a $30 gift certificate, which was applied to my order. The total was $269.99. (This would have run about $70 more if purchased at my local store.) They assured me that I would be getting my Tller in about 2 days. Then only yesterday I found this internet site and read a troubling letter about Russo with almost the same words I had heard only the day before. I expected the worst.Today at 3:00pm, UPS delivered my Mantis. It is exactly as ordered. And within 30 minutes it was being used in the garden. ( I did not get any Tee shirts or hats or fuel oil) I did get exactly what I ordered by some very courteous peolpe at a very good price and delivered exactly when they said. It is no surprise that I recommend Russo highly.

I found these guys by searching AltaVista for places that sell Mantis rototillers. They had what seemed to be the best price: $300, with free shipping and no tax for me (they're in IL, I'm in CA). The online advertisement also said "free border edger attachment" (like pretty muchall Mantis tiller offers), and "free $30 gift certificate".I ordered by phone. The ordering process was not very pleasant - they were not well organized and sent me from one site to another. When Iasked about the "$30 gift certificate", they said they would apply that directly to the sale, bringing the price down to $270. This started to set off my scam sensors -- "this is too good to be true". With some misgivings, I gave them my credit card info and sat back to wait. They said they had one in stock and it would be here in less than a week. Two weeks passed. I called, they claimed that there had been amix-up and the one stock item had been sold, but they did have a floor model they could send me. I said no, I'll wait for a new one. Another week, they said. Waited impatiently. Eventually I noticed that the charge had been made to my credit card, and that it was higher than they said -- around $290 when they said $270. I called to complain and was told "whoops, we mistakenly charged tax". They reversed the excess credit charge within 24 hours. Amazingly, shortly thereafer, the package finally showed up. The equipment appeared to be new, as ordered; and I have since assembled and used it to good effect. The border edger was missing, replaced with a note "We'll send it when we have one in stock". My suspicions were again aroused, but the edger arrived in good order, about 2 weeks later. Included in the main shipment were a few nice bonuses: two each Russo Power Equipment T-shirts and baseball caps; and an 8oz bottle of Ace Hardware brand 2-cycle engine motor oil (enough for 3 gallons of gasoline, or -- I would estimate -- about 60 hours of tiller runtime!) I don't know whether these were standard extras, or their way of apologizing for some of the mix-ups.Overall, it was a harrowing experience, requiring a fair amount of my time to guide them into completing the order correctly. But in the end, I got more than I expected, for less money than I expected to spend. BTW, the tiller works fine, just as I expected. Mantis also confirmed that they will honor the warranty when purchased from Russo.
