I have placed numerous orders with Midwest Hydroponic Supplies. Due to security concerns, they require customers to phone-in orders if totals exceed $100.00. I have had the pleasure to speak with a half dozen of their employees. It is rare and impressive to find every employee with whom I have spoken, infallibly courteous, efficient, and keenly knowledgeable. That makes ordering on the phone a simple and enjoyable process. Moreover, the manager possesses a wonderful sardonic sense of humor and is enjoyable to deal with. My morning orders ship the same day. I appreciate that Midwest Hydroponic Supplies does not inflate their shipping costs and packs their orders with care and attention to detail. It is a pleasure dealing with this knowledgeable and conscientious business. | |

from Cincinnati, OH (Zone 6b) I am currently building a few Vivariums and needed a source of Hydroton (clay pellet substrate). Rather than buy many small bags locally, or thru an on-line Terrarium supply company, I decided to go thru a hydroponic supply house. GOOD choice. I placed my first time order w/ Midwest on Wednesday, Oct 6 and received my order on Saturday Oct 9th. Order to Door in 4 days. I'm impressed! My 47 POUND package from MN to Southern OH, by Fedex ground shipping, arrived in great condition also. I'm in shipping and boxes over 30 pounds take a tremendous beating. Goods as advertised at a Good Price, Fast Shipping and Good Packing. Can't ask more than that. I'll order again. |
