We are a licensed nursery grower in Augusta, West Virginia. We like to trade seed for seed and list seed auctions for sale on eBay to help us raise money for our nursery supplies. We offer PayPal purchase payments on our website and credit card orders over the phone. We are a family owned and operated garden business. We grow our own flowers and vegetables and harvest most of our seeds from these very same plants. Sometimes we seek other sources to obtain hard to find seeds in order to widen our inventory stock. All seeds are tested for positive germination and logged according to the Dept. of Agriculture standards for seed health and viability conditions. We do our best to satisfy all customers and to answer all questions to the best of our ability. We are not a large seed company, but we have been a family garden business for almost a decade. Thank you for taking the time to read this intro. Dennis & Christy @ Mountain Meadow Seeds

I just started the Ipomea seeds I got from Mountain Meadow -- seemed like I hardly got them out of the package before they were making roots (Ipomeas pretty well have to be soaked before planting to get a good start)! And the packets are such a joy -- plain white envelopes labeled with the name, variety, Latin name (very helpful when looking for more of the same type) -- and a little photo of the flower. The online catalogue is like the packets -- nice photos of almost all the plants, name, variety, Latin name, and a brief but ACCURATE description that makes me want to have one of each. The (hype-free) pages load fast for country cousins who can only have dial-up speeds. The selection is very large, with many old favorites that have become hard to find both in ornamentals and edibles. I've never seen so many kinds of morning glories in one place -- there's even a (very) light yellow one. Mountain Meadow will be one of the first places I look for flowers from now on -- good hot pepper selection, too. Prices are very moderate and shipping is (in early 2008) a flat $1.75 for the entire order -- no juggling. And even my small packets of large seeds had an extra or two -- a nice touch.

I was very impressed with my first purchase from Mountain Meadow Seeds. The shipment was prompt, the product was as described, and the packaging was excellent. The cultural information on seed starting the particular seeds was very thorough. This is definitely a company that I will be doing business with again in the future.

I purchased two lots of sunflower/morning glory mix from Mountain Meadow Seeds early spring of 2005. I thought their idea of using the sunflowers as a natural trellis quite interesting. My only concern was whether the sunflowers would grow fast enough to support the glories. I needn't have been concerned as it works perfectly. It was simply beautiful and everyone that saw my garden complimented me on "my innovative idea". No, I didnt take the credit. What I did take though was first place at our local county fair for tallest sunflower. Over 15 foot tall. I left the morning glory vines that were on this particular sunflower plant on it when I took it to the fair and that also brought many comments and compliments. All of this coupled with the fact that Mountain Meadow Seeds knows the value of top customer service has brought me back for more of their award winning seeds. My thanks to Dennis & Christy Vickery for an awesome addition to my garden and hopefully I will have another winner at this years fair.

This is my first time ordering from this company. The shipping was prompt and the seed quantity was very generous for the price. I will know once the seeds are sown how well the germination rate is. I only ordered two things that I wanted to try and if these work out, I will order again.

Windy - May we know why you thought we should be given a neutral rating for your purchase? We have not heard from you about any problems or concerns regarding an order placed by you. We'd appreciate a chance to know why neutral feedback was given? We strive to please all the way around, but if communication is made we have no idea that a problem exists.

They have a nice web site - easy to order from and all products seem to be well described and have good photographs. After ordering, I received an email letting me know when the seeds would be shipped and I received the seeds promptly, as promised. Overall, a very nice experience. Thank you!

Web site is easy to use and you get order updates letting you know the status of your order as well as super fast shipping. Count me as another satisfied customer. My order was placed on-line Christmas Day and I received my seeds this afternoon, Jan 30. Clean seed, good prices, well packaged, w/ good growing instructions and even a hand written Thank You note. Can't ask for more. While I'll be the first to admit that the proof is in the growing, I am impressed w/ the prompt service and care taken. I'll update as the growing season progresses.

On April 3rd, 2005, henryr10 added the following: Well it's 4/3 and I've just placed another order. All the seeds I've sown so far have come up nicely and well under their projected package time. Out to plant some Sweet Peas.......
