Posted on June 18, 2014, updated June 26, 2014 Ordered 25 pink futurity canna plants from touch of nature last fall. They arrived in the spring & I planted them. The ones that came up had green leaves but I felt I would wait & see when they bloomed. They are now blooming & its green leaves & red blooms not the burgundy leaves & pink blooms of pink furturity. Would rather they had told me they didn't have the rt. plant so that I could have chosen something else that would have fit into my garden instead of sticking out like a sore thumb.Also out of 25 bulbs about 8 of them came up. The rest failed to grow. Thats less than 50 % . Since there are other cannas doing fine in the same soil & growing conditions you can't say its the growing conditions.

I discovered Touch of Nature through Dave's garden and ordered for the first time from them last year through one of Bert's special bulb sales. I buy a lot of bulbs online, and I was blown away by how beautiful and large the ones were I received from Bert. Every single one of those bulbs came up beautifully and bloomed beautifully (except for a couple that the rabbits got ahold of early on). I just placed another order with Bert from one of his special winter lily sales, and it reminded me to come back here and write a VERY POSITIVE, A PLUS review for him.

Ordered 185 lily bulbs from Bert and they were exceptional as always. Looking forward to all the new blooms this Summer.

I just bought a bunch of amaryllis from this place. As I told Bert, A wonderful selection of bulbs--excellent. Fabulous sales on top quality bulbs--excellent. Having my Christmas shopping finished--PRICELESS!!!!! The lily bulbs I bought last spring were very nice indeed as well, very large bulbs, all true to variety, and wonderful prices at the spring co-op. I highly recommend this place, great customer service, too.

It was a pleasure ordering from Bert. Amaryllis bulbs were shipped promptly and packed very well. They were huge healthy bulbs. Great customer service with emails answered promptly.

I ordered some bulbs from this company and the first thing I was pleased about was the prices. Then when I got my order last week, I was impressed by the clean packaging, which didn't yield soil floating around in the box, the large size of the bulbs and I was also impressed they were very healthy looking. Not a single brown spot on them. The look and felt like they had been dug up in the previous 2 weeks before they got to me. Delivery came in a timely manner for when I could plant bulbs in the spring time.

Bought some bulbs through a co-op. They are healthy and good-sized for very reasonable prices. Would definitely order from again.

I placed two separate orders for Lycoris squamigera bulbs from this company. Communication was excellent, shipping was fast and the bulbs themselves were large and healthy. Lycoris are very fussy about transplanting and settling in, but in 2-3 years I expect to have a wonderful late summer floral display thanks to Touch of Nature. I would not hesitate to order from this company again.

I ordered a half bushel of glad. bulbs they were all of large size, very heathy, and in great shape. I will order more from this company.

Posted on December 18, 2010, updated May 26, 2011 I decided to give forcing vases and some sort of bulb that can be grown in them as (insert winter holiday here) gifts this year. Plus, I've always wanted a forcing vase for myself, so I ordered one extra for me. Ordered from Touch of Nature since they were the only company I could find with good forcing vases that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I ordered 12, and ended up paying $36 for the vases. $4 is a pretty good deal for a good forcing vase. Because I ordered late, they were out of hyacinths for forcing but did have paperwhites, so I ordered the smallest growing paperwhite variety available. I was very pleased when my order arrived--the vases arrived in great condition and are very high quality, the bulbs are just the perfect size to fit into them, plus they sent me an extra two bulbs! So now I have five left over from putting together the gifts instead of three! I've got one in the vase I kept, will probably pot up the other four. All in all, my experience with this company was very good. I will definitley consider ordering from them again if I want more bulbs in the future.

recieved my bulbs today & they were all Just Beautiful I Have ordered bulbs from other comps None compared to the one I recieved from BLEEK . packaged & Labled in A+++ Condiction . great communacation , Price's are within my Budgit:) Will be sure to be back for more .

I received my bulbs last week, they came very nicely packed in individual bags, They are nice healthy bulbs and I'm sure they will put on a beautiful show. Very nice people at Touch Of Nature. Nothing bad about these folks. Thank you. Charleen

I've ordered from Touch of Nature and its sister company, eFlowerGardens several times. Whether I'm ordering at pre-season or post-season clearance prices or during "regular" season, I've received big, healthy bulbs and plant divisions. The crocosmia bulbs I just received (end of season clearance) were starting to sprout, so I know they're "good," and they were easily half again the size of those I'd received earlier from another excellent company (at a similar price). Thanks to Bert (our own "Bleek") and Ingrid for outstanding service! Remember, you can always get in touch with them for quantity pricing, they like to come up with special "specials" for you even if they don't have an advertised deal.

Posted on December 3, 2009, updated January 19, 2010 I was pleased to find the alliums I wanted at Touch of Nature at an outstanding price. Bert helped me with my order, and treated me as if I was their most treasured customer, despite that my order was a very small one. My order was shipped the very next morning by priority mail with tracking. I was so impressed with the selection and customer service that I emailed a number of my gardening friends and acquaintances to tell them about this company. If the bulbs and blooms are as beautiful as other reviewers have stated, Touch of Nature is going to be a favorite with many repeat orders.

I received a rush order from Touch of Nature on Nov. 3rd as promised. It was a perfect transaction. I had decided at the last minute that I wanted to plant a nice selection of Narcissus and minor bulbs in my brother in law's Boston yard as a gift. I emailed Touch of Nature and said that the bulbs needed to be dropped shipped to arrive in less than a week, so that my husband and I could get the 500 or so bulbs planted as we passed through Boston on Weds morning. There was no need to worry, as Bert and Ingrid are the best at shipping and doing what they say they can. They are awesome bulb people. I can't wait to see my BIL and his wife's smiles next spring when they look out upon their once naked spring beds and see the glory of the Touch of Nature's fine selection. Thanks again. Patti

The daylily stock was fabulous when it arrived. Just received my 2nd order & I got a peony collection for a very low price. These peonies look as good or better than one I bought from Whites. There was no difference in quality, only the price. I received 5 peonies from Touch of Nature for the price I paid for 1, from the other guy. Customer service is tops. You need to place an order from these guys! Awesome deals & quality bulbs.

I was extremely pleased with this vendor! I've been relandscaping our whole property since we bought it and we've had the best luck with the plants we received from Touch of Nature. Well over 95% of the 80 hostas we bought had sprouted leaves after a week and are doing wonderfully after 3 weeks. We also purchased several hundred bulbs from them as well. They provided detailed tracking/shipping info via email & I was well pleased with their product.

Business was straight forward and to the point. I will very gladly do business with Touch of Nature again. Prices at Touch of Nature for items that I am interested in are unbeatable. I tend to buy things in quantity so, I really look at prices everywhere.

I received my first order from Touch of Nature yesterday. I ordered "clearance" bulbs and fully expected to receive clearance bulbs (small, shriveled, mostly papery outer skins)......what a pleasant surprise when I opened the box.....every bulb was much larger than described and fresh. Talk about exceeding expectations. I haven't found bulbs in my local nurseries that compare to these.....can't wait to order some "regular" items since their sale items are so good!!!!!

I had a terrible experience last year with a mail order catalog company so I was extremely hesitant to order from another company. But after I read the positive comments regarding Touch of Nature I decided to place an order with them. IT WAS A WONDERFUL experience! I received email confirmation of my order and 1 week later I received the order. My credit card was not charged until after I received my order. The daylilies are healthy and after being in the ground for just under 2 weeks are already through the ground and looking great. Thank you so much!

Ordered a bushel of daylilies in March, and had to call a week or so after when I realized I hadn't received notification that they'd shipped. Obviously a mixup, but the gentleman I talked to was very apologetic, and my order shipped the same day and arrived the following day (I think they must have sent it overnight). Bareroot daylilies have been in the ground a few weeks now, and you can practically hear them growing.

Received healthy bulbs/plants with exceptional service and great follow-up by Ingrid. They are very worthy to be rated in the top 30.

Based on the positive reviews at this website I chose Touch of Natures bulb fundraiser to raise money for our schools' Outdoor Learning Area. The bulbs received were very small, significantly smaller than the same bulbs they sell in their catalogue and smaller in some cases than that stated on the package. Some of the bulbs were no good. I contacted them and tried to obtain larger bulbs but they refused. I had no choice but to send back the bulbs and refund back all the checks that people had made. It was an embarrassment, a waste of time and a fundraising opportunity lost.

I ordered 10 Amaryllis at $2.50 per bulb. and 10 Erlicheer daffodils. I was told when the Amaryllis were shipped and given a tracking #. Nothing on the daffodils. The amaryllis arrived in good shape and bigger than expected. The box was label box one of two. Nothing else was heard on the daffodils. So I wrote and found out they had tried to reach me (lost in cyberspace? ) and thengiven a tracking number. They had been out of the Erlicheer at the warehouse, and with the holiday (Thanksgiving) etc were just late. I was given advice on how to coax a bud from some of the Amaryliss. I then heard about their vendor specials, and wanted to order several small bulbs for $4-6 per 100, but only if my daffs came-which they did-and if the new bulbs were in the ware house. I wanted them right away. The daffodils came-again, nice plump bulbs, and I ordered the the other small bulbs. They were here very quickly-and I was able to get them in the pots I was squirreling away ere there and ever protected place I could find here in zone 4.

Wonderful healthy items delivered. This company kept in touch and kept me updated on the status of my order. I have since bought from here again and will contunue to do so. This is a business I have recommended to others!

I was happy with the diversity of bulb plants offered - found the rare plants i was looking for! Quality of bulbs was excellent, prices fair, and delivery time was ok.

I ordered (3) Festiva Maxima peonies online and emailed Touch of Nature to confirm they received the order and payment. Pricing and customer service was excellent and Ingrid answered my multiple emails w/in 24 hours of my sending them. The peony roots arrived within the week and looked healthy. I planted them immediately and hopefully they will do well. Overall, a very positive experience with this company.

Just received an order of 16 bearded iris at their special pricing of $1.75. You certainly get what you pay for, small dried up rhizomes. BUT...you can't beat the price and the selection was good. Jackie

I placed my order last fall, and the shipping was fair. Many companies have very high shipping to Alaska, but this was acceptable. Now, this spring, my garden is wonderful. The bulbs are strong and in full bloom. I will order again this fall

I just completed a fundraiser from Touch of Nature. I was skeptical, having never dealt with the company before. However, they offered a good return and the plants were priced well. (I hate fundraisers where the least expensive item is over twenty dollars.) The orders arrived quickly and look very good! This was an easy, pleasant transaction and I will certainly consider purchasing from Touch of Nature for my personal use in the future.
