Sylvan Nursery

My favorite wholesale nursery. This would be our nursery of choice if it were closer to Boston. Good quality stock, and a larger plant list than the other wholesale nurseries we buy from. Excellent service. We have bought from them half a dozen times, and have been highly satisfied.

In fact, Sylvan encompasses 300-acres. Friendly and very well-informed staff. A "green" company in every sense of the word. Very healthy stock ranging from enormous fern and heather/heath collections to dwarf conifers to Maacki to about anything you could possibly grow in zone 6.

Been there twice, in two years. Staff knowledgable, and helpful. Plants very good condition. Great stock of heather/heath varieties. Will happily go back next summer

I had the pleasure of visiting this nursery a couple of weeks ago and could not have been more impresed with the stock and quality of plants and trees and the sales staff. The help knows where every plant is and the plants I purchased are great. I highly recomend them and I will go back. They have 180 acres of plants. Just too much for one visit.

We ordered $1200 of trees and shrubs from Sylvan Nursery a year ago and everything was in excellent condition then and is still thriving now. A very knowledgeable staff and access to pretty much every plant that will survive in the Northeast. None better in New England.

They grow own root roses; mostly English and OGR We have bought roses from them the last 2 years and have found them to be a good size and healthy.
