Sanderosa Gardens

My husband and I were visiting our daughter in Kinston, NC and were amazed at the beautiful day lillies on the roadside and in lawns. We liked them so much that we decided to go to our nursery when we got home and get some for our yard. On the way out of town we noticed small roadside signs for day lillies for sale so we thought what the heck, we had time, let's take a look. We rounded the corner on this county road and could not believe what a beautiful site we saw! A field of gorgeous lillies in every color and size imaginable! Unfortunately the sign said they were closed so we just pulled in to have a breathtaking look. Mr. Tew saw us and waved us to come in saying as long as he was here he was open! To make a long story short, it is worth checking out. Terry is very cordial and knowledgeable (we know nothing about growing day lillies) and his place is unbelieveable, can't wait to go back for more lillies on our next visit with our daughter on Labor Day. had the opportunity to spend some time with terry tew in the garden , selected some extreamly nice plants , at a super price. terry was very helpful, caring and was very proud of his place. He extended an invitation to visit his home garden and pond next door. Lillies growing in a garden setting for sale; a nice way to view and purchase plants.
