My wife and I found the staff at Trees By Touliatos to be most knowledgeable. We enjoyed walking the grounds of the nursery and seeing the many variety of plants and trees, the water features, the fish and the unique garden items in the garden shop. We were helped to find the kind of tree that would fit our needs and arrangements were made to have the tree delivered and planted by the staff from Trees By Touliatos at the appropriate time. The men who delivered the tree were meticulous about planting the tree and kept working until the tree was to their satisfaction. We look forward to purchasing plants/trees from Trees By Touliatos in the future.

What a pleasant place to shop for plants and flowers. I found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. It is nice to be able to ask for a plant by species name and get more than a dumb stare. I have found many hard-to-find plants for my butterfly garden here and have received many good suggestions from the staff for other things to plant.

I have purchased 4 trees and numerous perennials from this company. They have the largest and most comprehensive selection of plants that I have been able to find in this area. I have always been satisfied with my experiences with Trees By Touliatos. They are a bit pricey on installation, but they do offer a one year guarantee. Mr. Touliatos is invaluable as a resource. He is knowledgable and always happy to answer any questions that you may have.

This nursery is like an oasis in the city. 20 acres of natural setting and unusual plants, water features and mature trees. I felt like I was in the country. Very knowledgeable staff.

We bought quite a few trees from Trees by Tuliatos back in 2000. Most of them are thriving. A few did die with no apparent reasons, and these happened to be the most expensive ones. They do deliver, although having them plant the trees can be quite expensive - they charge 50% of the purchase price to help you plant the tree. I have since called a few times with questions and have gotten reasonable responses. If you talk to Mr. Tuliatos, you'll most likely find him very helpful.

I was a first time customer at Trees by Touliatos on November 1, 2003. My husband and I were impressed by the beautiful grounds, wide selection and helpful customer service. We asked about whether this time of year was a good time to plant this kind of tree and received a very educational explanation about the need to plant the tree in time for the roots to develop before winter. We were also told that they had been selling quite a few Nuttal Oaks recently, which was evinced by the numerous holes in the ground where root balls had been dug up. We picked out the Nuttal Oak that we wanted and were told that it would be delivered within the next two weeks. Two weeks later, when we had not heard from them, we called back and were told that it would not be delivered before December 1, 2003, a full month after we paid for the tree and a 60% delivery and planting fee. This was accompanied by an explanation that this kind of tree cannot be planted until after the first hard frost. The man apologized for the bad information that I had received but this does not alter the fact that I would not have paid on Nov. 1 for a tree that could not be delivered until "after the first frost." Needless to say, I will not be returning to Trees by Touliatos and I am at the moment searching for an alternate place to buy an oak tree.

Visited their buisness several times in the past month. Hard to find anyone to help you. Wonderful place to shop but if you have a question about something, you best bring a book.
