I ordered Yellow and Showy ladyslipper dormant plants from this company. The roots systems on these dormant plants were huge. Service and packing were great. I especially liked the cornstarch packing peanuts that dissolved in water in my sink. A very good company to do business with.

I ordered 2 corms from the Vermont Lady Slipper Company:1 Showy Lady's Slipper;1 Large Yellow Lady's Slipper. The website was easy to peruse and ordering was simple. I recieved both corms in good planting time. They were healthy and plump with large long roots. The directions for planting were easy and included a pictoral. I am very happy at their customer service and their products.

Ordered two showy lady slippers in spring of 2003. This is a wonderful company to deal with - great communication by email regarding shipping dates, etc.Their instructions for growing their orchids are clear, precise, and accurate. The plants themselves arrived in excellent condition and grew very well over the summer. Each produced one flower in their first year which really surprised and pleased me. This company produces all their own orchids - none collected or "rescued". This alone certainly makes this a company worthy of gardeners' support, but the plants themselves are also superb.
