Tower Perennial Gardens

This nursery has an excellent selection outside of the typical "Monrovia" varieties and a fairly knowledgeable staff. They have a very nice display garden, but unfortunately do not offer many of the plants that are displayed in the gardens. I'm giving a neutral because of pricing. They are about the most expensive nursery in the area which is okay considering their excellent selection. However, they often sell perennials that are left-overs from last year's stock with tons of lungwort growing on the soil and significant die-out in the center of the pots. They don't put anything on discount or clearance and will charge full price for a plant, even if there are only two leaves left on a mostly dead stem.

I live in the local area so my experience is "live" rather than via mail. Tower Perennials, in my opinion, is the best source for perennials in our region. The selection is excellent. The staff is knowledgable and enthusiastic. The plants reflect the staff's care and pride. The display gardens alone are worth a visit.
