Snowpeak Iris and Daylilies

I have been purchasing from Denise for years - ever since reading the positive feedback here. I picked up my order this year in person and am so happy to have more from her garden. Unfortunately, I had to leave all my beautiful iris when I moved from Idaho. I am so sorry to report that she will be closing her doors at the end of this season as her husband passed away and she cannot keep up with the work alone. So I am suggesting that anyone who may want a variety of Iris to put in an order with her, and if you aren't picky, let her pick them out for you. I understand that she will just bulldoze them in after the season as it is more expensive to ship and sell her varieties to growers. In closing, if you have been a long time faithful customer, give the lady some help and in doing so help yourself to a beautiful group of Iris!

My first year to order from Snowpeak. Denise says she will stand behind her iris and she does. I had three small iris in my order, I called Denise up and she not only sent a refund but sent another six as a compliment. This is a good company to order from.

I've been wanting to order some of the Bianco irises since last year. Got my nice box of rhizomes today and they are absolutely the best I've seen and I can't wait to see them bloom next spring. I was pleased and shocked by the number of bonus plants I got. Thanks for living up to your reputation.

I've ordered from Snowpeak for two years now. ALL Iris received were healthy and generous divisions. Very well packed and marked and of course TRUE to name. Real pros that grow the Iris they sell so you know they're tested.

First time ordering from this company. Very good communication and ease of ordering. Rhizomes arrived and planted and most have acclimated with new fan growth. Will follow up next spring when the bearded iris bloom.

Just got my first two orders from Snowpeak Iris and I am very pleased. First of all I got 6 clumps of the Siberian Iris and they are huge and loved the packing also with the moisture crystals. Also a nice sized bonus plant. Second, I got 12 Tall Bearded Irises and they were nicely packed and had big roots. Good size! Some of them became two plants! It was a good experience ordering from Dee, everything went real smooth. I was happy with the prices and with the plants! I would highly recommend her to everyone. Thanks Dee!

I had read about Denise and Snowpeak on this excellent site, and figured I had to give it a try. And consistent with all the other comments here, I got very friendly customer service, amazingly healthy looking, well-marked plants, bonus plants, and a strong longing for next growing season to be here! And the pricing is wonderful, the only danger being that I'll order more than I have room for. Now that I know, I will surely never order irises from the big catalog companies, it's funny how shriveled they look next to Snowpeak's. Thanks Denise!

Only one of the four plants was a decent sized double fan comparable to those I have received from other vendors. Two of the four were of very poor quality and extremely small fans and the other plant was only of slightly better quality and size. I would be embarrassed to send anyone fans like I received on three of the daylilies, much less sell them to someone. Package weight for the four daylilies was only 1 lb. 0 oz. and most of that was packing material. Shipping charges at $14 were excessive for content shipped. I will not order daylilies from this vendor again or recommend that anyone else do so.

I received my order yesterday of my daylilies. They arrived in excellent condition and were beautiful and very generous clumps. Thank you very much. I will consider your company at the top of my favorite sites to buy quality product.

Denise included several rhizomes of most of my selections -- for a couple of them she sent FOUR rhizomes. This is my second time to order from Snowpeak and I will definitely order again. Neil

I'm sorry I neglected to post right away! I was so pleased with their Iris rhizomes. When I asked for a substition for an Iris I'd aready own, this was no problem. They also gave me so many 'nice' bonuses! Not the old ones that I've never heard about. Recommend highly!

I have ordered around 30 Irises and 2 Daylilies (soon to add more) from Denise at Snowpeak. All have been fantastic. Healthy, clean, well packed and generously sized. Fantastic customer service, accommodating shipping policies. All around winner. I look forward to adding more lovely flowers from Snowpeak to my garden. Highly recommend.

The first time I ordered tall bearded iris from Dee was in 2002. This year I purchased 3 spuria and a Siberian for spring delivery. I have always been very pleased with the quality of the plants that she sends, and she really has quite a large selection. She really cares about her customers. Now I am anxiously awaiting my tall bearded order the beginning of July (including one of her introductions). Don't want to forget to mention that she always adds beautiful bonuses. She is really a very nice lady!

My order of 13 daylilies arrived yesterday and I am pleased. I ordered double fans, but triples and quads were the norm. Besides the extra fans, I also received three bonuses! It was a very nice transaction and I would do business with them again!

My mom and I both ordered from Denise through the Snowpeak Iris co-op, and we are both thrilled! The iris looked great, very fresh and large rhizomes, and they took off right away after planting. She sent wonderful surprise bonuses, too, both extras of some we'd ordered, and some different varieties that will coordinate great with the colors we ordered. She has the nicest selection of dwarf beardeds that I've found and when I was going to order 2 rhizomes of some varieties, she told me I didn't have to because she usually sends 2-3 or more rhizomes of the dwarfs. Which she did, often more. And she even talked me out of buying one variety that wasn't one of the better ones. I will absolutely buy from her again.

This is my third year ordering from Denise. Each time she has always been quite generous with her rhizomes, at times including more than one of those I've ordered, plus great bonuses! Received a very nice order of Siberian Irises from Denise, bonuses included too. Shipping and communication were very prompt. Have already placed an order in for bearded irises. I have also purchased bearded irises from Snowpeak thru a DG co-op in 2006, they have all done very well.

Met Dee Stewart when I scheduled a visit to Snowpeak. A stranger, I got the king's welcome, a personal tour, and lessons! Was very impressed with how clean and tidy her garden was and how well everything was labeled. She personally digs every order, too. And she brings Bianco introductions from Italy to the USA. She spent several sessions on the phone and emailed me promptly, giving excellent advice, as I agonized over my order. It arrived promptly, accurately, incredibly fresh, with good healthy sizes, some doubles, and so many bonuses I almost dropped my teeth. Many bonuses were ones I'd reluctantly cut from my list. All are doing very well. I'm planning to buy twice as many this year....as soon as I buy more land to plant them on.....

Great selection of wonderfully healthy, vigorous iris rhizomes -- which arrived huge and plump and bursting with life. Prompt, secure shipping. Warm, personable seller with excellent communication. Wish I had more room for more of her iris!

I have ordered from this company twice this year, siberian iris in the spring and tb iris in the summer, and I couldn't be happier and can easily recommend them to anyone. The iris are extremely large and healthy, with some being close to clump size.

These are the biggest Iris I have EVER recieved... each one was a real clump. The prices are sooooo cheap you will never beat them no matter what. This is the best and only Iris company I will buy from, now to forever.

A really great experience with Denise and Snowpeak. We picked up several iris last week -- all of good size and with a truly generous (even by iris company standards) number of bonus iris included. Ordered some dwarf iris from Denise. I had to delete one variety from my order, when the total with shipping, got too high for my budget. When I opened the box, I not only saw very generous amounts of the ones I had ordered, but she even surprised me by including many starts of the variety that I had felt I needed to delete. She made my day!! They were very healthy, and disease free. They were well-packed, and shipped very quickly. I am very pleased with my order, and intend to order from her, again. She is very pleasant, friendly, and generous lady. This is my first online order of iris rhizomes and I am greatly pleased! Denise was very generous and sent two bonus iris along with my order of 10, not to mention the ones I ordered were more like two for the price of one, as many rhizomes as she sent. They were nice and healthy too, and at a reasonable price. They have a great selection and I had a hard time stopping at 10, so I just might go back and order again right away. I know if I ever need more irises, I will definitely go back to Snowpeak Iris and Daylilies. I highly recommend this company.
