We were having trouble with deer eating our roses and other perennials. I purchased a spray bottle of Deer Off and used it on the roses and other plants and around the perimeter of our many gardens.

First, the bottle claims the scent is undetectable to humans. NOT! This is the most foul smelling stuff I've ever seen! And, all my flowers stunk for 3 days after spraying it on them.

Secondly, it gave all my roses black spot! Or rather it is brown spot! And you know what that does!

Thirdly, I put the partially used bottle in the garage on a table with all my other fertilize, pesticides, etc. About six weeks later, we began to smell this horrid smell in our garage. We thought a small animal had crawled in there and died. We searched in vain for three days and FINALLY discovered that the bottle of Deer Off had developed a leak and was running all over the place. You can imagine how that smelled in a 90 degree, 100% humidity garage for a week!!!

Needless to say, I will never purchase another bottle of the stuff! It may have deterred the deer, but the side effects weren't worth it.
