I love going to the gardens during each and every season. It's so fun to see something you didn't see a few months ago. My kids and I often take classes there. It is surprisingly "un-crowded". I've never felt like there were too many people there. I LOVE the classes, I'm even going to one this Monday and one this Wednesday! They are all very nice and accomodating to their guests. It's very comfortable and relaxing there. And they have BIG plans coming up - a skywalk that's kind of like a walking deck in the canopy.

If you are coming to Atlanta this is a must visit. The ABG has dedicated themselves to continually improving their gardens and it shows. They have wonderful artist installations in the gardens, a wonderful childrens garden and seasonal interests as well. If you become a member of the ABG, you have access to an absolutely incredible botanical library at the garden. The web site is excellent as well and will give you all the dates and times of special events. The web site also lists some great nearby restaurants info under "plan your visit". If you visit during peak times, parking may be an issue and they are currently working on improving the situation. My only regret about this garden is that I don't visit often enough.
