Randolph's specializes in all sorts of plants for containers and small
gardens, including vegetables. Unusual and colorful plants are arranged in
separate greenhouses for sun or shade to make shopping easier. With an
emphasis on 'Foliage First', Rita is always on the search for the newest and
best varieties.

As a business owner and 'Plant-Nerd' I'd like to thank all of you for visiting us .... continuously... and posting your comments. Your support keeps small businesses like ours alive, and I thank you very much!

Rita's place is a treasure trove of plants and planting ideas. On Saturdays in the spring, it's hopping with locals and some out-of-towners like me but she and her staff are attentive, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

This is a MUST if you are seeking a plant, a garden or just a tranquil garden experience. Located just west of downtown Jackson, Tennessee, many who work downtown go here to de-stress on their lunch breaks. Quality of plants is unparalleled and only the freshest plants are on display in the nearly pristine greenhouses. Easy to shop as shade plants are in a separate wing from the sun plants. Annuals, perennials, herbs, containers, decor items, hanging baskets, jumbo ferns including Rita's personal discovery "Rita's Gold". Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, prices are reasonable and the education is FREE! Enthusiasm abounds. You will love this place! Be sure to think of Mother's Day because a week or two prior is the peak of the season to visit but don't wait to visit as stock changes continuously with what is blooming right NOW. Will create custom planting designs for your pots, hay racks or whatever, just drop them off and they will plant and have them ready for you. Also cash and carry if you need a quick gift. Easily found just off I-40, ya gotta go. You will be glad you did.

I am so proud that Randolphs nursery is in my Hometown of Jackson, TN. I now live about an hour from there but still go there 4-5 times a season ( at least) When I am stressed at home , instead of going to the Mall , like some women do.. I go here!!

This is the best place I know of for Container gardening and for any lover of unusual plants. The selection is huge and varied. Rita Randolph is a very well known ,highly respected , plant collector in the US and goes all over the country speaking and teaching to plant lovers, master gardeners, etc...but yet she treats every single customer as if they were royalty. She will go hunt through one of her many greenhouses for that one perfect plant for your container. The customer service is unparalled!!

The prices are extremely healthy and .....I must say extremely reasonably priced. If you go here and spend $100 , you are going to leave with a carload of plants. It always feels like Christmas to got to Rita's

Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT MISS THIS NURSERY!!!

Outstanding quality plants and the owner treats you as though you are her most valued customer. She has a nice variety of unusual plants. I called last year to purchase a gift certificate for someone who was going to visit there. The amount was small but the service was not. Bring your camera because you will want to have photos the beautiful container combinations and whimsical creations. She instructs smalll one on one classes in hypertufa, freehand concrete creations, and container gardening.

I too, visited this wonderful place with DG friends. The several hour drive was completely worth it!!! They have such nice variety that you will find at least one plant that you must have. Make certain you get a Rita's Gold fern; you will be the envy of all your friends.

Wonderful selection of well-cared for stock. Knowledgeable employees are helpful and courteous.

Even though it was a busy weekend, no one seemed rushed or unavailable. The staff (and Rita) were right there to answer questions or locate an item.

A great experience!

My 2012 trip to Randolph's was once again wonderful. I came home with a trunk full of plants and Rita even helped me choose plants for a water garden I'm planning. What a fun day!

I had the pleasure of visiting this nursery Last year with some Daves garden friends. It was a 3 hour drive for me but very well worth it. I wasn't dissappointed in the least. They have a plant for everybody there. You'll need plenty of time as this place is nice sized. Decent prices, and very friendly helpful folks there.

The ultimate place to shop for plants. Be sure and go in a truck and carry lots of money and credit cards, you can't leave there without finding something special
One of the nicest nurseries I have ever been to, the workers there are very friendly and if they can't tell you something they, will go and get Rita to help you.
You leave there feeling like royalty from the way you are treated. I enjoyed being there very much and look forward to the next visit I can make

Still a 5 star place, Randolph's nursery is worth a week end trip if you are not close.
This year I have a friend driving up from LA to go to see Rita, now that is a long way to go to visit a greenhouse, you are missing out if you don't try to visit sometime this spring. You will be glad you did.

This place gets SIX stars. It is truly a place you can get lost in time in. Many greenhouses, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Plan to spend some time if you are lucky enough to visit this place. It will be worth it.

If you are anywhere near this area - it would be worth the effort to make sure you visit Rita's place. She is a very dedicated owner. Her and her husband run it with most of the workers as volunteers like you and me that trade time for plants. She has several greenhouses out back that she don't mind you walking thru just in case they don't have it out front. And don't forget to visit her nice koi pond out to the side. She has alot of wisdom for any of those that can grab her attention. Please visit her website - she is an outstanding lady.

Best place in the world for container gardening ! We frequent this nursery at least twice a season and wish we could do more. I never leave this nursery with an open vacant spot left in my trunk or truck. Love, love, this nursery ! Need I say more!? Drive 100 miles to visit it - and would drive further if I had to.
