Information on Alden Lane Nursery

One of my most favorite places! Excellent quality plants and products - knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff. Informative classes (many at no cost) Fun events such as the art show and quilt show every year.

Positives: everything from location, parking, service, selection, classes, special events, consistency, responsiveness to requests. Having the 'boss-lady' present most of the time and having hort-students as staff a real plus!
Negatives: pots a little pricey but there are outlets close by if special sizes are needed

I have 30+ years of professional gardening/landscaping experience. I have visited hundreds of nurseries and find Alden Lane as one of the finest nurseries I ever been to. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great collection of plant material. The property is so very lucky to have so many beautiful Valley Oak Trees for them to grow around. The window boxes at the ends of the plant tables are to die for.

Gorgeous building and a wonderful plant selection, many of the newest plants displayed to their advantage, making them hard to resist!

Alden Lane is about 45 miles from my house and worth the drive. The selection is great and the plants are healthy. They carry a very good selection of California natives and Mediterranean plants. Love them.

Park like setting, French chateau arhcitecture, ample parking and an excellent selection of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals, as well as upscale garden accessories.
