TALL PINES IS AN ONLINE SCAM.I PLACED AN ORDER WITH THEM ON 1/2/2010.I RECEIVED AN E-MAIL SAYING THAT THEY WOULD DELAY SHIPPING FOR A WEEK BECAUSE OF COLD WEATHER.AFTER THAT TIMS PASSES AND THEN SOME I E-MAILED THEM. NO ANSWER.I CALLED THEM ,THEY TOLD ME MY ORDER WOULD BE SHIPPED SOON. 2 WEEKS LATER I CALLED THEM AGAIN. THEY SAID MY ORDER WAS LOST IN THE MAIL AND WOULD RESHIPP IT AND I SHOULD RECEIVE IT IN 3 TO 4 DAYS. THAT WAS 2 WEEKS AGO. I HAVE CALLED NUMEROUS TIMED SINCE THEN NOW THEY DON'T EVEN ANSWER MY CALLS. NO PLANTS ON MONEY. THIS IS A BIG SCAM.

I can't say much about ordering from Tall Pines Greenhouses because I just drive there when I want something from them, but I can say that I love the people who work there and I really love the plants they offer for sale. There is literally no-one else in our area who offers such a unique variety of plants - and offers them at such a fair price. The variety of ferns, elephant ears and bananas they have available is unbelieavble to me. I never go there that I don't come home with something new and exciting.

I am planning to do some revitalization to my yard this spring and I can guarantee that Tall Pines will be doing my landscaping. Can't wait!!!! I'll post the results when they are done.

I just had my yard completely re-landscaped by Tall Pines Greenhouses and I am EXTREMELY pleased!!! The professionalism and creativity shown by Tall Pines is unrivaled by any other landscaper that i have used in the past. The job was very big and took almost 2 months to complete, so I had a long period of time to observe not only the quality of the final product, but also the way they work on a day in - day out basis.

I truly love these people and I highly recommend them. The selection of plants they used in my yard is a pleasure to see every day. Many of the plants I picked out straight from their local nursery. They even built a deck and dock along my waterfront. Great experience.

Tall pines is a scam! Even the website... Check it out for yourself. It is not a full functioning website. You are able to navigate to advertisements, but not able to move around on the site (about us, contact us, live plants...). You are certainly able to make purchases, but you will not receive any plants. Again, this site is a scam! I believe it has already been removed from ebay or in the process. If you call the phone or fax number you will get the same message -that they cannot come to the phone. REPORT IT... PASS IT ON....
TALL PINES IS A SCAM! MANY HAVE LOST MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE INCLUDING ME. PLEASE REPORT THEM IF YOU HAVE BEEN CHEATED.
THANK YOU

Seller also has store on Ebay. Poor business practices on-line, communicates what they are capable of...what can one get away with when not-face-to-face is telling. Spend your money elsewhere.

I ordered plants in mid-April and they took my money the same day. It is mid-May and I have received no plants nor communication from them despite repeated emails and telephone calls. What am I to think other than I've been ripped off?

I purchased several ferns off the Tall Pines website a few months back and was very happy with my purchase. Right before Christmas I purchased some banana plants and was extremely impressed by the quality of the plants I received.

I wanted several difficult to find elephant ears and Tall Pines had a great selection at an equally great price.

Very pleased with this small, but high quality nursery.
