What sets Annie's apart is that there is nothing ordinary about her selections. Absolutely no boring big box plants. Every plant I have bought from Annie's is an adventure. And even though many of her plants are rare and exotic, they are relatively easy to grow. |

I especially love the 4 inch pot size she offers. The plants are big and healthy and I don't have to dig a huge hole to squeeze the plant in like I do with the gallon size that most places offer. Great prices too! If you have never been, try to go. |

Their website is also very helpful with Annie's often whimsical and tempting descriptions, making your wish list often larger than intended. Speaking of wish list, you can set up your wish list online and when a plant becomes available, you receive an email notification. Even with wish list in hand, it's too hard not to find more than what you originally came for. |

Annie's is one of those nurseries that you could spend all day at and still not see everything. WELL worth the visit, but if you cant make it, it's good to know that they supply many bay area nurseries (I even found their plants as far south as Monterey) with their incredible selection! |

I also like that almost everything is in 4" pots (even the trees and shrubs) so I can shop away without going broke (as long as I stick to my limit of no more than one wagonload of plants per visit!) Prices if you go there in person are much better than what they list on their website for mail order, so if you live in the area I definitely recommend making the trip! |
