Information on Ashuelot River Park

My granddaughters and I visited this park in mid July of 2007. I went to look at the wonderful gardens, but they went for some fresh air and sunshine.

The park has numerous winding trails, most of which have been landscaped by local garden clubs, so there is always something interesting to see. The girls loved wading in the river and skimming stones. I liked walking through the woods and sitting in the gazebo, listening to the birds and the wind.

Many folks in the area use the paths to ride bikes or to hike upon, getting their daily exercise.

Numerous community events are held in the park every year.
