One of our favorite places to go for a quick hike, it has over 80 miles of trails. This is California's oldest State Park and has the largest continuous stand of ancient coast redwoods south of San Francisco. You can enjoy family and group camping, tent cabins, backpacking camps, hiking, mountain biking as well as picnicking. My son loves the cool bike trails through here and on our walks we often cross paths with some of the mountain bikers. The large old redwoods are always awe inspiring to see.
