This is a great place to shop for gardening needs The workers in the store know the business and are always friendly & knowledgable. I have been shopping at this store for over thirty years for plants,tools, mulch, birdseed,fertilizer etc. and have always enjoyed going there. This store stocks products you won't see in the large garden centers, partcularly if you garden organically as I do. Great service , good products, fair prices , you can't do better.

I was so pleased last week to find what I wanted--strawberry plants in a range of cultivars including the Tristar everbearing I wanted, and seed for asparagus. They were busy with spring gardening but well staffed; one of the regular guys even asked me one my way out to the car if I found eveyrthing. Good source for lesser known stuff like Ironite, Milorganite, Turf Trust. I'll be back for that plus they are selling crushed dried crab shell (chitin) soil amendment now that we no longer have Cheaspeake Blue crab compost. Also stock farm supplies and pet supplies and some country/ garden theme gifts and cards. Interesting place to browse.

Cory is always there and is great. they have everything from potato seed to blueberry bushes. It is a local store and they are nice. They will also help you and will replace plants if they do not grow!
