Information on Milaeger's Gardens

We use Milaeger's every year for our annual poinsettia sale to raise money for GLHF and the Wisconsin bleeding disorders community.

Every year the folks at Milaeger's are absolutely wonderful to work with, delivering gorgeous plants to us right on time. We get so many compliments about the quality of their poinsettias every year, we wouldn't think to choose any other grower.

I fly into Milwaukee twice a year to visit my best friends of 25 years. Upon my arrival, we head directly to Milaeger's. It is the most incredible experience with all the merchandise being geared towards anything to do with nature. I purchased one of their christmas trees a couple of years ago and get more compliments than you can imagine. The staff is wonderful to work with. Helpful, knowledgeable, professional. What more could you ask for? Incredible selections at all levels or merchandise and an atmosphere that is both professional and relaxing. Hey, please open a facility in Atlanta.

The people there all seem to have excellent knowledge of product. I travel 40 miles every year to go to Mileagers because of their selection. My fav. flower... Lisantus can only be found at Mileagers. If you want what everyone has....shop somewhere else. But if you want the unusual or just good advice.....shop Mileagers. You know the saying.....you get what you pay for.

It is a beautiful garden center, the amount of annuals, perennials, etc. is outstanding...I must have one yearly stop in spring.. The only drawback I have is some of the flowers can be quite pricey. But they still get my business! I love flowers!

I have been shopping there since 1998 and have purchased dozens of grasses, a shade tree, an ornamental tree, 2 roses, at least a dozen shrubs and perhaps 100 perennials. I drive 42 miles to get there, and it is worth it. Their plant material is outstanding, far better, in my opinion, than any nursery in Illinois, where I live, and at 20% less. One of the owners is always there (Kevin Milaeger) and he never fails to ask whether he can help. The quality of the stock is close to that of Forest Farm, but without the shipping. And there is a huge amount of it. I look forward to my trips every year.
