They are slow starting though. It takes 2 years for me to see them really take off. Once they do, I have a continual boquet in my garden that seems to bloom all year. Once they finally estalbish, I have to thin them so they don't take over Iris and other plants around them. But though they reproduce some by seed, they don't reproduce much so they are easy to maintain. All around, I find them a great flower for our area. And of course there is their wonderful smell...
