The pictures I've contributed to this entry illustrate forty years of effort by one tree to survive in perfectly decent central KY growing conditions. Lack of photosynthetic surface makes a lot of difference in what dimensions a tree might achieve.
Buy it and grow it, but don't expect too much too fast.
