I have removed this plant because it is much too large for my property. It is very thorny and would be difficult to manage in any case. I replaced it with Golden Showers, which is smaller and has flexible nearly thornless canes.

Nice spring bloom with sporadic bloom the rest of the year & lovely dark green foilage. BIG thorns. Blossoms stay white a long time, then the edges tinge to brown. Sweet plant!
