Here on the far south west coast of England, it can be trained against a low wall, allowed to tumble down a dry sunny bank or grown in a hanging container. Given a sunny spot it carries its palest coral, spidery flowers almost throughout the year. If you are into 'in your face', 'over the top' plants with large gaudy flowers this is not for you, but it has a gentle charm and the sheer numbers of flowers can make it quite spectacular in summer. It can withstand very light, short-lived frosts, but only if grown in sharply drained soils. Definitely a 9b. plant.
