I would say that the info on growing this is a little misleading. These are hardy annuals and can be planted before the last frost. They will take frosts quite well, but not hard freezes so don't put out with peas, rather a bit later. In the Fall they are much hardier and can take very cold weather and come back if the weather warms again. Excellent cut flowers and fragrant too.

Is not as vigorous as Centaurea Cyanus, plants need support or they'll "lay down".
