They go summer dormant so Repot them and start watering in late August. They will first send up green leaves but they will turn dark purple in time. The flowers are quite large and bloom in October-November. The plant will stay 'green' all winter then start to die back in the spring. Leave it dry all summmer then repot and resume watering in late August.
