| "Hi, I live in central Texas zone 8. We have long, hot summers and a very long growing season. We also have frigid winter weather, but I'm sure Northerners would laugh about what we call frigid. My main interests are photographing plants and perennial vegetables. If you have experiences growing any kind of perennial veggies, I'd love to hear about it. The ground doesn't freeze in my area, which allows planting of many types of plants that die back on top but return in the spring from the roots.
