"Hello! My name is Tammy and I live in West Virginia (Zone 5b). Growing up we always had a garden, but the only thing I learned was how to pull weeds. It wasn't until a couple of years ago I started to learn "how to" garden and this past year I have started to save seeds... I'm still learning!
I've also taught myself to can food and preserve by drying. I enjoy learning and researching plants. I grow for purpose rather than looks. I like herbs, fruits, veggies and flowers that can be eaten or have medicinal properties. I also would be interested in anything that benefits Poultry (Ducks, Turkeys and chickens) or Whitetail Deer. Gotta feed the critters too!
I package all of my seeds in bunches of approx. 10-15. If the seeds I have prepackaged are a lot less or a lot more, I will say so beside the seed name! Please mark envelopes "HAND STAMP" and use bubble wrap or a bubble mailer so seeds wont be crushed. Please mark seeds with Name of seed, variety and date collected or produced, and I will do the same. Knowing it's a Tomato, without knowing what KIND of tomato is useless to me!
My seeds come from several sources: Organica Seed Company, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, heirloomseeds.com, Amishland seeds, Victory Seeds plus several others. All Heirloom, all open pollinated.... Non-GMO" |
