"I have filled so many of these out that there seems to be not much left to say. I am a 28 yr old new home owner who has spent most her life bouncing from rock to rock. Now I have come home and done what most call settling down. Though it feels more like going comatose. After starting a herb garden for my kitchen a few years back I realised I like gardening. I kept finding my self waking up in the morning and having my cup of tea while siting in my little garden. Pulling a weed there, feel the petal of a flower here and pull a leaf of mint to smell. It would seem its back to nature for me. I mostly have a love for herbs. They are fragrant. Many have beautiful colors and flowers and they are useful in cooking and home remedies.
My garden currently contains
Lavender-not sure what typ.
chive-basic
chive-garlic
mint-basic
thyme-mother of
catnip
mint-pinapple
What I strongly suspect to be english thyme but was told was lemon mint when given to me. :)
Our yard has wiled strawberrys but I am haveing no luck potting them. Even though my herb book says I can.
I also have a giant pear tree, raspberrys and two peach trees started from seedlings a neibour gave me.
I hope to add much more!" |
