| "I am a retired pastor and paramedic in SW PA (Fayette County) I am widowed with 10 children and 32 grands and three great grandsons, For over 20 years I didnt have time to garden I have always loved gardening. Now I am starting to build up my beds to enjoy in years to come. Im usually posting on the Prayer Request forum I started my gardens and was deployed to Washington DC after 9/11 to do disaster work which I have done nationally for 20 years. Then I retired to promptly have a heart attack and bypass surgery and then 2 lens implants. So things have gone slowly especially with my two bad knees/ Hope to get things really going this year but the new sewage project in town is going right thru my garden and the water project is taking out my ornamental grasses and small junipers . Cant seem to win. I have made some wonderful friends here.And I am grateful for everyone who has traded seeds and plants and shared for postage so many nice things. I am always looking for that elusive hardy bamboo though." |
